Description
See more detailsLocation. The Ciuri di Badia is located in Buseto Palizzolo on the island of Sicily, Italy, two kilometres from the village centre. The coast is 15 kilometres away and the medieval town of Erice and the port of Trapani are both 18 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Surrounded by the hills of Trapani, the Ciuri di Badi is a modern residence comprising 12 two-storey blocks painted in different colours. The hotel offers an outdoor seasonal pool and spa tub. Other amenities include laundry facilities, limited hours room service and a concierge on hand to offer advice on sightseeing on Sicily. Motorists will find complimentary parking on site.
The rustic Cirui wine bar serves a selection of Sicilian wines, liqueurs and other drinks. Located by the pool, the Ciuri summer bar is relaxed and informal by day, and offers intimate dining in the evening. Open for breakfast, brunch and dinner during the summer, it serves freshly prepared Sicilian and Italian dishes made from local produce. A complimentary buffet breakfast is offered every morning.
The hotel offers public Internet access (surcharge) and a conference room able to accommodate up to 80 people.
The local area offers opportunities for water sports, horse riding and tennis.
Guestrooms. The 48 air-conditioned guestrooms at the Ciuri di Badi open onto balconies. All are simply decorated and feature local, rustic furniture and Sicilian ceramics. Amenities include satellite television, telephones, minibars and safes. Bathrooms come with showers.
Expert Tip. Buseto Palizzolo is perhaps best known for its Palm Sunday procession, held during Easter every year. The Passion is performed on carts that pass along the town streets, accompanied by live music.
