    I stayed at hotel centrale for three nights before taking part of my trip to Rome. The staff was by far the most friendly and accomodating staff at any hotel I've ever visted around the world. The food is amazing and fresh, the inside of the hotel is of a grand palace. The town is very clean, beautiful, friendly, and close to the coast. Anything I needed I just asked someone working at the hotel and they made it happen with a smile on their face, also their english is spoken well. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area of Sicilia. caio caio

    This was the greatest bargain in our 10 day Italy vacation. We had some happy surprises and some less than happy ones in the 8 hotels we used on the trip. The Hotel Centrale is a beautiful gem of a place. They have about 25 rooms and cater mostly to a business clientele. We had a king sized bed and a large, sparkling clean bathroom. Even the lighting was very upscale. 2 added bonuses: the breakfast (which was included) was full of variety and included almost anything you could ask for. A second terrific feature was the restaurant off the lobby. If you are a hotel guest you can choose to have the fixed-price dinner, which includes appetizer, first and second courses, dessert and bottled water. It was a very resonable price. Glad we found this gem.

Location. The Hotel Centrale is located in the centre of Alcamo, on the island of Sicily, Italy, six kilometres from the Zingaro Nature Reserve, 15 kilometres from the Segesta Temple, and 40 kilometres from the Medieval city of Erice.

Hotel Features. This 18th-century hotel is situated on a traditionally built street and is decorated in period style. Amenities include 24-hour room service, complimentary high-speed Internet connections, and complimentary parking.

Hotel Centrale's restaurant has classic decor, and serves Sicilian and international dishes. The hotel offers a complimentary buffet breakfast daily.

Business facilities i nclude conference rooms and business services.

Guestrooms. There are 32 air-conditioned guestrooms over two storeys. Decor is period in style, featuring chandeliers and heavy velvet curtains. All are equipped with cable television, direct-dial phones, and complimentary high-speed Internet connections. Private bathrooms include bidets and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. Alcam o, whose ancient Arabic name was Manzil Alkamah, is an agricultural city situated in a wide, luxuriant valley of vineyard, where the celebrated Alcamo Doc wine is produced.
