Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 5Exceeded all expectations!!!!
Hotel casa conde del mar was an absolutly beautiful hotel. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. The staff greated as at the gate and when we arrived at the front desk, all our paper work and wrist bands were out and ready and drinks were brought to us immediatly. The pools and surrounding scenery were breath taking and the staff were very polite and very helpful. The room was a little smaller than the pictures portrayed however the room was a nice size and they were very private. the only slightly negative comment i have (which could be a positive) was the hotel was so secluded it was impossible to go shopping or dining outside of the hotel without paying a minimum of $40 (US dollares) for a taxi ride. The hotel has a variety of tours and day adventures they can set up and the beach is only steps away. I recommend this hotel 100%!

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 5Great hotel, but could still be improved.
They upgraded us to a jr. suite when we were there because they had almost no one else staying at the hotel. Pros: Tour desk and tours are great. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, we brought our left overs to the restaurant and they cooked and reheated it for us no charge! Panama beach was beautiful a short walk to very calm beautiful crystal clear water for snorkeling and diving. The Gulf had the most amazing sunset views. The pool was clean large and nice, but the swimup bar was unstaffed, probably because we were 1 of 5 guests staying at the hotel at the time. Large jacuzzi tub in our suite. The breakfast buffet was great, the had an omelet and waffle station. Cons: The suites are too far from the main hotel. The internet worked intermittently there. playa panama is pretty far from anything so you need a car if you want to go somewhere to eat. the matress was small and kinda old, a minor rearranging of the furniture and you can fit a king bed in there.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 5Somewhat isolated; fair value for money
Good, but not great. Pool is nice as is the rest. IUf you are looking for action do not come here. It is more for the 50s set. This entire area does not comparer to the central pacific

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 5Great Service, secluded, but not remote
This hotel was exactly what we wanted. Small, Intimate, with an attentive staff. Well tended grounds and large pool. Not alot of other guests around. The beach near by was always quiet with few people. Secluded but not far from small and quaint villages for other options regarding food and entertainment. Definately need a car to get around (taxi's are available)
