Super Hotel

The hotel was close to our dive trip, staff very helpful. Cost (thru Hotels.com) was incrediable! Only complaint was 1 of the 4 rooms had a noisy ac unit. Otherwise perfect! Lots of room, very clean, very very convient.

Recommended for Spring Break and probably only Spring Break

Clipper Club is definitely a good hotel if you want a hotel within very easy walking distance from coco bongo and senor frogs and basically the nightlife center, and it is good for college budgets. i would not recommend it for a honeymoon or for older travelers who want to be comfy -- it's not the best-maintained or cleanest place. Also, beach access is very difficult: your privileges (which you pay an entry fee for) are limited to a small area near "the city" nightclub, so if you are looking for easy access to the beach i would probably just spend a little bit more money and stay at one of the hotels farther south in the zona hotelera, because all the hotels in Cancun are really strict about letting you "cut through" in order to reach the water. The Clipper club is inland on the lagoon side, and consequently it's inordinately difficult to just cut through to the nearest beach.

Needs some repair

This is our 3rd stay here, we usually fly in a day before our resort stay to get better flights as we come from the northwest of the USA, we were surprised at the condition of the hotel since we were there last. We like the resturant very much. I would like to see some improvements, or just better maintenance.

This Hotel Should Not Be Rated

Well below standard even for a Best Western. This hotel should be removed from Hotels.com and Best Western as a choice. The room we booked online was not available on check in at all. Hotel is maintained, is old, dirty, bug infested, unfriendly staff, and is in a bad location. I could go on and on! We spent one night at the hotel, found an alternative and checked out the following morning.
