    Everything was perfect for this hotel -the staff went out of its way to make your stay pleasent, for example even though we spoke litte Geman the restaurant staff made sure to find waitresses who spoke English to wait on us( a really nice touch) the location is excellant for what ever you want to do in the area and the is plenty to see and do. I would highly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting the area.

The Hotel Böld Landhotel Oberammergau is housed in a traditional Bavarian property dating from the early 19th century, set in the town centre, by the slopes of the Ammergauer Alps. The 53 guestrooms are spread over three floors and have traditional furnishings and simple decor, and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains. All are equipped with satellite television, complimentary wireless Internet and direct- dial phones, clock radios and minibars. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations, bathrobes and makeup mirrors. Cribs, hypo-allergenic bedding and irons and ironing boards are all available on request.

The hotel is a ski-in/out property and offers ski storage facilities. After a day on the piste, guests can unwind in the hotel's steam room. The Rosstal Bar serves beers and cocktails in a traditional setting, while the Böld restaurant features traditional Bavarian decor and serves international dishes and regional specialities, with a barbecue on Sundays. Vegetarian and children's menus are also available. Public areas are equipped with complimentary wireless Internet access, and guests visiting on business will find meeting facilities on site.
