Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 66a Nice Hotel
Rooms are small and there is strange smell in the room. The air conditioning is very old and noisy, but other that these two issues, everything else was very nice and excellent.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 66Okay for the price
The hotel rooms were really old and the air conditioner was noisy. But the hotel was clean overall. The location of the hotel is decent as it is just a block away from the Berri/UQAM Metro station and a few blocks away from Rue St. Denis which has a lot of bars and restaurants. The neighborhood around the hotel can be a bit sketchy late at night though, so be careful walking around after hours.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 66Convenient Location
Just a block away from the Metro, three blocks from the Latin Quarter and a short walk to Place d'Arts. Hotel was clean, staff helpful. Breakfast could use some help though.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 5 of 66Not what it seems like online
My girlfriend and I needed a place to say a few nights before and after a show we were attending and found this hotel on hotels.com. Our room was not what it looked like online, they also messed up our reservation. We requested a premium queen and got a 2 person standard bed room. They were almost reluctant to relocate us but did. They charged for parking at a high price but you have to accept it for street parking is unsafe. The only positive thing with the hotel was the food from the resturante inside.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 66Great location near downtown and Old montral.
The rooms were in good condition and the staff was very friendly. I will give A+ to staff. Only drawback was Hotel parking was not included in price and was full when I got there.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 66Great Location but old room
It has a nice location near to the metro and bixi (nice tranportation sytem by bike. The room it was clean but old. The carpet it was in bad condition and the ac even is was working looked broken. The furniture is old but confortable well at least if you going only to sleep a few hours it is ok. The only renovated area is the lobby and some work on the front facade.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 66Good for the money and nice cozy restaurant.
We got in about 9:30pm and did not find a restaurant close enough to walk to that was open. We returned to the hotel and were pleased with our dinner there. Room was nice and only a short cab ride from the Amtrak station.

I had to spend one night in Montreal, I wanted something affordable close to the old city.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 66Great location
The hotel was in convenient walking distance to the sites in Old Montreal. The staff gave clear driving directions for leaving Montreal upon our departure. Although there is an underground parking garage, it is tiny and cramped.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 66Under Construction
The hotel was undergoing front facade renovations. Other construction workers returned to work on the lot next door Monday morning (when we checked out). Luckily neither was working over the weekend. People staying during the week might not be so lucky. The room: a lampshade had a nice big crack that scraggled from top to bottom, one outlet near the desk didn't work (so we couldn't use the desk for work), our toilet wouldn't flush everything unless we held the handle the whole time, there was black mold all the way around the top edge of the shower block, bed comforters were seriously outdated. Beds were comfortable, never turned on the tv, location was great to everything we wanted to see (the village, old Montreal, and general walking around), price was affordable, and the staff was friendly.
