Exceeded our Expectations!

This hotel is a gem. I have never written a review before, but felt compelled to this time. We booked this hotel based on others' ratings and even with the positive reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. The desk personel were outstanding: very friendly and helpful. We had a triple and it was spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. Our teenage daughter felt welcome at the hotel and loved the free DVD's that she could view. The location is perfect, nicely just off the main street. This hotel is the best value we experienced in Switzerland, not fancy, but certainly nice enough for us.

Nice Hotel

ZERMATT !!! this cozy hotel meets all the comforts that a tourist could ask, the rooms are nice clean and comfortable, as in switzerland the elevator is not the size that we get in the USA, breakfast was decent. The spa was nice. Ovcerall a very nice experience

Excellent Overall Experience

The hotel has a fabulous location just outside the heart of Zermatt. Since the town can be overwealmed with tourists, a little separation is very nice. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. My one issue should not impact other travellers, but should be noted. There was hotel construction going on and we were awoken on the first morning by workers replacing panels on our deck at 7.30AM. The breakfast and entry areas were also consumed with the same. The helpful GM, Mario, took care of the problem and moved us to another room, but my complaint comes from the fact that guests should have been notified of this. Once the construction is finished, i would recommend this hotel to anyone!
