Hotel Aquabella

Location. The contemporary Hotel Aquabella is located in the centre of Aix-en-Provence, at the base of the medieval fortifications of the old city. The well- known Sextius thermal baths are attached to the hotel. The town's fountains and other attractions are close by.

Hotel Features. Hotel Aquabella occupies a modern building in gardens shaded by hundred-year-old sycamore trees.

Set in a stunning metal-and-glass conservatory with orange trees, the hotel's restaurant, L'Orangerie, serves traditional dishes. There's regular live jazz in the lounge-bar, and buffet breakfast (surcharge) is served on the terrace in summer.

Meeting space and wireless Internet access (surcharge may apply) are available.

The outdoor pool, with sun loungers, is open in warmer months. There is a wellness centre with cardio machines, sauna, steam bath and spa tub.

Guestrooms. The Hotel Aquabella's 110 air-conditioned rooms are decorated in a Provencal style. All rooms have safes, minibars and satellite television. Bathrooms have bathtubs and bathrobes.

Expert Tip. The adjacent thermal baths were built by Sextius, a Roman general. They utilise Aix- en-Provence's warm mineral waters and house 13 health pavilions and a fitness centre.

The hotel's wellness centre is open at the following times: 8.30 AM to 8.15 PM, Monday to Friday; 9.30 PM to 2.30 PM, Saturday; 10.30 AM to 5.30 PM, Sunday and Bank Holidays.
