Horseshoe Tunica Casino and Hotel

Not bad, too smokey

Room was very smokey smelling. Was supposed to have a king bed and had two double beds instead. Other than that the hotel was nice.

Zero Customer Service

The hotel did not have the accomodations available as promised. Then when asked about it, the front desk associate was rude. We also purchased a soda from one of thier shops (not a vending machine) that had been expired for 3 years. And then had to jump through hoops to get our money back.I'm glad we were only there one night. They also had very rude associates working at thier Cafe restaurant, I believe it was called "Aces" I actually saw an associate roll her eyes back at a customer that ask for something else after the initial order was complete. I get the feeling that this is "not" the hotel of choice to work for in the Tunica area. But to be fair, the rooms were pretty and clean. The associates that took care of the rooms were very friendly and genuine.

Quite impressive!

The hotel exceeded my expectations! The room reminded me of a high price hotel from downtown Chicago. Mattress was top quality and comfortable. Left my camera in a public area and never expected to get it back. I called and my camera arrived at my house within days!

Only Average

We requested a non-smoking room and none were available, which we didn't know until we arrived. Our room overlooked a rooftop with heating and air equipment which made quite a bit of noise. The housekeeping staff talked with each other very loudly and woke us up every morning earlier than we would have liked! There is only one bank of elevators for the entire hotel and we had to walk quite a distance to the elevator.

Looking for a place to get a way for a few days and have fun, this is the place! Weekday rates are unbeatable for what you get!

Great Time at Horseshoe!

The room was beautiful, comfortable, and clean... huge flat screen TV, refrig. in the room, comfortable beds, and adequate water pressure and temperature in shower. All the comforts of home! The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was professional and warm. And the casino was great... low limit slots and poker machines that actually pay out. Plus well mixed cocktails and fast service at the machines. Overall it was a terrific 3 days/nights at the Horseshoe. We give it our highest recommendation.

The second day no clean bath towels or coffee cups were left. We called housekeeping and they brought some quickly.

problem solved

We reserved 2 rooms, one double smoking and one king non-smoking. When we arrived there was only 1 room reserved, but the front desk was quick to fix the problem.
