The room was nice along with the some of the service. My complex was with the issue of the parking lot. The parking lot was around the corner, where they had one person watching everyones car. You have to pay for this open lot where you assume all liability, even though someone is watching. Then after leaving the hotel and coming back later that night, the parking lot was full and people were double parked. You then have to turn your keys over to a guy in the lot. This may leave some people uneasy during there stay.

This hotel was well worth the money I paid. The service was awesome and the hotel was great. One thing struck me as odd though. I got a 2 BR king suite and when I checked in they gave me a key to a 1 BR suite with 2 full beds. I went to the clerk and they fixed it but gave me no real explaination about it. So, room awesome, price awesome, location pretty good. 4 blocks from casino and bourbon street. We walked everywhere.

We were very, very pleased with this hotel. There was alot of room to move around in and the kitchen was nice to have. The only problem we had was when we pulled out the sofa bed the sheets were dirty (blood & a dirty tissue on them). We called downstairs and they brought up fresh linens in about 10 min. The staff was extremely nice and greeted us by name whenever we came in and out. The indoor pool was nice after having been in the sun at the zoo all day. The breakfast was delicious and offered alot of choices. If you plan on spending alot of time in the French Quarter it is a bit of a walk but the scenery was great to look at.

I was very happy with the Homewood Suites New Orleans. It was in a clean, safe location on a main road within walking distance to the French Quater and the Casino/riverfront area. The service was great the and the free breakfast was an outstanding value! I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those travelling with children!
