Good Value, nice staff

Hotel was good value for price, nice breakfast set up. Room was clean and accomodating. One thing I did not like, when we went out for dinner, I asked for "turndown" service (to freshen up the room). I was told that was not possible because housekeeping had gone home for the day. So I asked if at least a few more towels can be delivered to the room. They said sure....towels never came.

Good location on The Promenade; Unfortunate Incident during our stay

This hotel may be one of the few in the Edgewater area. We found that it offers exceptional views of Manhattan, and its location (on The Promenade) is great. We were able to walk around to the various shopping venues (Banana Republic, etc.) and were able to take pictures of the Manhattan skyline from the walking park. There was an unfortunate incident during our stay where the fire alarm went off around 4am in the morning for a period of 15-20 minutes. The hotel staff came onto a building-wide PA system to let everyone know that it wasn't a true emergency, but it was inconvenient nonetheless. We were slightly disappointed that there was no apology or mention of the fire alarm upon checking out at the front desk the next morning.

Outstanding hotel

Every thing about this hotel was outstanding. Look forward to returning. Best breakfast arrangement of any hotel that I have stayed, who offers breakfast as part of the rate.

Great Hotel wih excellent staff!

The hotel is located right on the river with great views of the Manhattan skyline. I could see the George Washington Bridge from my window. The room was very clean. The staff is very friendly, efficient, and accommodating (everything from helping with check in to directions around the area). Service is very fast. I had a problem with toilet in my room. I called the front desk to report it, and maintenance arrived within minute to fix it. The hotel is located within minutes of transportation to NYC.
