Great Deal for the Money!

Great deal for the money. Room had stove, fridge, micro, coffee maker, and toaster. All the fringes of long stay better hotels. Room was clean and sheets and blanket looked almost new. Good experience! Thanks!

Very Dirty and Poorly Maintained

Poorly maintained and extremely dirty. Unfortunately, I had to leave and find an alternate room. There was obvious dirt and other items smeared on walls and counters. Absolutely disgusting!

Great for price--recommend

For the price and general overall service and room, I highly recommend this hotel. It's not flashy, but it's clean and comfortable. A great value. I have stayed here 2x before and always been pleased.

Great for the price

What was good: - I must say that the bathroom was super clean and this is the first thing I look at when I book a hotel room. What was bad: - The utensils were very greassy.. That turned us off completely.. - The pillows were too flat! We had to fold them in half so that we could feel a little bit more comfortable.. Everything else was ok.. I can consider "The Homestead Fort Lauderdale - Tamarac" for my next hotel stay...

It was alright

This hotel is ok. I asked for a non smoking room yet the room I got showed many signs of cigarette stains on counter tops. Overall the location was good and price wasn't bad for a kitchenette in room

they need help

dirty room and poor preparation for guest arrival. I had stayed here before and had a less than hoped for experience. The manager wrote me an email and said if I would try them again that he/she would see everything was gonna be great on my arrival. I wroye and when I checked in the room was not cleaned properly. Also the TV had no sound. I will not stay here again.

This place is the pitts smells like a dump.. we npaid for a non smoking Room & the Mgr said take it or leave it soo we left& i called the hotel customer service & got another Place .. those people are Rude & lousey for a hotel mgr i will never ever stay in one of those places again....My Family wasa Very dissopointed

Great room for your money

The hotel was great. The only thing I found to be a problem where the other guest staying at the hotel at the time where rather noisy Walking the grounds all hours of the night and the room above us must of had been heavily footed us we heard every step they took,I was surprised they didn't keep us up all night.. all and all I would stay there again and i would recommend Homestead to friends

not clean room this time

It didn't seem that bad when I got there. When I walked into the bathroom I could smell mildew, and found it in the bathtub later a bunch under the soap holder that had been overlooked apparently. One bug in the bath I couldn't identify but I washed him down the drain and continued my business. I turned back the sheets about 2am to find they hadn't been changed. A lazy cleaning person apparently tucked it back in. I found extra sheets in the closet since it was too late to call up and I had the last bottom floor room left. I used the other sheets so that I wouldn't touch the bed as I was about to sleep with my clothes on. Not staying here again.

Needs Improvement

LAte Checkin was a problem. No wifi was provided as avertised. The bed was very old and uncomfortable. No hair dryer and the only toiletry was a single bar of soap.

Good overall, some specific concerns

I booked the room for two days, and was inexplicably locked out on the second day. As I had found this out upon returning to my room after the office had closed for the day, I had to call an after-hours agent using the phone outside the office. NO ONE ANSWERED AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS -- THAT IN ITSELF IS AN ISSUE! Luckily, a security guard had told me where the agent was at that time on hotel grounds (which, I had found later, he was NOT supposed to do...), and I was granted access. Moral -- MAKE SURE YOUR MULTI-DAY STAY IS ACTUALLY REGISTERED AS SUCH! On the first day, the TV remote was nowhere to be found -- had to get a new one from the office. Not a big deal at all, but a curious omission just the same. Overall, a nice stay, specific issues notwithstanding. Still, I'd definitely advise to double-check the details of your stay with the hotel, just to make sure you don't get locked out when you least expect it.

Nice but shopworn

the room was slightly worn and had an old tube tv instead of a flat screen. Everything worked and personel were friendly and helpful.
