Excellence!

I was extremely satisfied with this hotel. The service was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The only thing that I wasn't satisfied with was the breakfast that I ordered from foom service. The food wasn't good but the service was excellent and right on time. I will be staying here next time I'm in D.C.

Awesome Value

For the price, this is a smoking deal. When I signed up, I had thought the hotel might be older and decaying, but it was up to date and very clean. I didn't experience anything that wasn't up to snuff or sub par. The location was perfect for our trip.

Serves it's purpose!

If you're just looking for a place to sleep when you're in D.C., this is the place. Got there late, ate at the Whole Foods around the corner, and got up and walked to the White House in the morning. No complaints whatsoever.

Great hotel, great location

I am a business traveler with frequent multi-night stays in DC. This hotel has consistently provided for me a convenient, friendly and quiet place to stay.

Needs improvement

Requested a non-smoking room and was put in a smoking room. Shower did not drain and hair dryer stopped working and when I requested another one there were not able to provide until later.

Huge Cockroach in the Dining room!! UGH !!! We walked out!

Room was fine, but we ordered breakfast the 1st morning and while waiting for it the hugest, I mean hugest cockroach walked on the wall behind my husband who killed it. We walked out immediately and told the server and never went back. Nothing was done to make us feel any better either. Also upon entering the hotel, the doorman/ bellhop did nothing to help with the luggage. Clearly no tip was warranted either! In this economy, you need to work for your money.

Very helpful with everything. Printed up boarding passes, late check-out, opinions on nearby restaurants. Clean, well kept.
