Nice hotel for the money

My girlfriend and I stayed here on labor day weekend and were, after asking, accomodated with a room on the intracoastal waterway when we checked in. Nice room overlooking waterway, very friendly staff at this hotel and clean rooms. Our stay here was very enjoyable. If you are used to high-end hotels then this is probably not for you. If you just want some place nice and comfy to sleep, check it out. We are peculiar on our taste in hotels and this place lived up to our expectations.

bad attitudes

the staff had a horrible attitude and didn't want to help us. the rooms were very out-dated and the hotel smelt super musky. plus the location was away from everything. wouldn't recommend this place!

No Bargain, rundown room

Booked room for 4 nites. Got stuck in smoking room and could not change due to prepaid reservation. Was told it was the standard rate and no other rooms available. Yuck, room smelled of smoke. Small table had sticky substance on top and edge. Cleaned it up myself. Coffee filter not changed in basket, cream and sugar not replaced, poor internet connection, stained worn carpet in room wayu overdue for replacement. Killed roach in my room. Had one elevator in my section on 6 floor hotel, VERY SLOW to get down to first floor. I would have left after 1st night except I had prepaid for 4 so I was stuck. Not a happy experience for me.

good hotel not far from anything

Good hotel with restaurants and stores not far from the hotel. Short drive to the beach and public parking deck on 9th St. The restaurant inside was well priced for breakfast (only time I went).

Wonderful Hotel

The hotel was very clean and filled with awesome staff members. Beds were uncomfortable though. Room service was very quick. I will definatly stay again.

One problem we had

over all the hotel was great the staff was very nice and helped out. the only thing that was wrong was when we checked in our room door was wide open, the room also didnt have any towels in it, and the fact every time we came back from exploring myrtle beach our door was open to our room. other then that the hotel staff kept our room really clean.

Don't be fooled....

The exterior and lobby area of the hotel was quite different from the room quality. This hotel is obviously dated and still undergoing a remodel. Our bathtub was not clean. The main elevator broke during our stay, forcing us to use the second elevator, which was miles away from the lobby and in a area of the hotel undergoing remodel. The access at this door was not lit well at all, leading to a dark area of the parking lot. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, which is always a plus. But all and all, I would not stay here again.

Great hotel

The stay was wonderful however the front desk was unable to supply any information regarding the surrounding attractions. Brochures and/or pamphlets would have made the stay more enjoyable. There was also no family restaurants close by.

the hotel was a nice one, very pretty, convenient location and nice staff. i would recommend this to a friend

Good stay for the money

Got in and out, arrived late and left early, used very little other amenities. What we did use was clean, affordable and help was pleasant.
