Great for the price

The hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was friendly, and went out of their way to provide us with transpertaion to the San Diego Harbor even though it was outside of their local boundery

The hotel room was beautiful but I was not happy to find out that I had to pay additional for Parking.

Nice Hotel

Good location and comfortable hotel. Room had flatscreen TV and bay view. Would stay here again on a trip to San Diego.

More than met our expectations!

I rented our rooms for a brief stay for a family gathering. I chose something economical not expecting much from our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the 5 star hotel feel of this Holiday Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby, although small, was well done with a nice lay-out. Our rooms were very nice, spacious, and comfortable. We had our kids room adjoined with ours but kept the sound limited to each room. I will definately be staying here again!

Fine for Business Travel, Short Stay

They'd updated the room so was quite nice, clean, comfortable, contemporary look. Not many amenities otherwise-- no restaurant to speak of, for instance. Front desk pleasant. Right on freeway so convenient to get in and out of city, but not in good neighborhood or near fun Gaslamp District, although less than mile from convention center.

Great room for the money

This hotel was very good. My wife and I live in San Diego, but we was celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary and wanted to stay downtown. The hotel staff was friendly and the room was good. I would tell people to pick this hotel, although the hotel was a little boring.

Hotel is not in the walking distance to the downtown, but consindering the price, it is a good place to stay.

Great stay

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at sea world until it closed and they made a trip out their to just pick us up. They went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of.

Good location, good value

If you don't mind walking a bit, this hotel has a good location: less than a mile to the Broadway St ferry wharf (ferry to Coronado), Maritime Museum, USS Midway museum. Room was clean and comfortable, free WiFi was great.
