Great location if you are departing on a cruise

Works perfectly if you need a place to stay the night before or after taking a cruise from the Port of Miami dock.

Just right for us

This place was just the best for the start of our cruise. It's old and not as roomy as some we've stayed in but it has character. The service was great, very close to all the sights. It's old and so am I, I hope I can stand up as well. We'll be back.

Great place to stay before a cruise

Was a little leary of this hotel based on some of the previous comments but I thought it was a great hotel in a great location! The room was very clean and very quiet...even right off the elevator. Had a great view of the Bayside Marketplace and enjoyed spending time there the night before our cruise. We definitely stay here again if doing another cruise departing from Port of Miami!

Very nice

I like the hotel cause is very convinient for me close to everything,that I need to do and see,and yes I will come back and visit.

Needs Improvement

We usually do not complain or write reviews unless very satisfied or dissatisfied... I must say the location is a plus and a big reason for staying, but on the other hand our room would not cool lower than 75 degrees and when we called the front desk, they sent the maintenance worker to our room and he just turned the vents toward the bed.. The overall apperance was not impressive, paint chipping on the walls. Very noisy, so didn't sleep at night...

Good price, right by the Miami Port

2 years ago We missed 2 days of a cruise because the fight was cancelled. This time we decided to go the day before the cruise started. We needed a room for that night. There were many locations that we could have used but didn't want to pay a fortune for on night. This hotel was perfect. The price was right and it was right down the street from the Port of Miami. Directly across the street was Bayside Marketplace, where we had a great night of shopping, food, drinks, and entertainment. This was a great way to start off our cruise. The room was clean and the staff was great. The pool was small but refreshing and private. They do have a restaurant,but it's a little pricey. I highly recommend this place.
