Breakfast

Breakfast was not much different than COMPLEMENTARY ones at other hotels, AND it was expensive. There was no tea bags in the room with the coffee, everyone does not drink coffee!

Outstanding service and lovely pool

The hotel just redecorated and the new carpet smell was strong (and the room windows dont' open so we couldn't air it out). We asked for a new room and got an upgrade to a balcony room overlooking the harbour (lovely, outstanding, beautiful, wonderful). Hotel is located next to the boats that take you on water excursions so we walked to the snorkel boat. Loved that!

Extremely fair priced for the Keys, Good Quality.

A great stay. Comfortable nicely done room. Far better than the average Holiday Inn decor. Great Pool, Tiki Bar and scenic location by the docks. Go and enjoy the Keys for a very reasonable price.

Wonderful hotel

This was quaint, comfortable, pretty and very well located. It was just as nice as some of the more expensive places in the Keys!

Worth the money

A nice hotel. Very clean and the food in the resteraunt was great. When you check in leave your luggage in the car because the rooms are located in the back of the building. The shops and dining area and bar is in the front. As someone else said this is a 2 story building and remember there is no elevator if you have a lot of luggage so you may want to ask for a 1st floor room if that matters to you. All in all we had a pleasant stay and a restful nights sleep.

Good room for money

Good location, right next to cannal that provides snorkeling and other boat tours. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Pool area/Tiki bar was very nice. Be aware, there is no elevator. We were not told this prior to being given a 2nd floor room, so lugging heavy luggage was a little frustrating.

Great Room for the cost . . .

This Holiday Inn well located next to docks that offer diving and fishing expeditions and excursions to the coral reef (third largest in the world) and a view of the African Queen - the boat used in the movie by the same name. The house staff is most cordial and accommodating. Grounds are a tropical floral example of the surrounding areas of the Keys. The room was well cleaned and most sufficient. Restaurants are located within the hotel as well within short walking distances.

Surprisingly Nice Hotel

Salt water pool and tropical voliage around the pool really set the place apart. Our room faced the pool and it was wonderful to set and take in the lovely surroundings. Beds had soft top making it better than even the better hotels around. I really don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. Pleasant surprise!
