    The location of this hotel is ideal if want to have a walking experience of the downtown area. Very close to plaza de armas, teatro degollado, the basilica, san juan de Dios, great shopping, and a couple of very good local ethnic restaurants. Staff is very friendly but the place is a bit older and somewhat rundown.We were there for the independance day celebration and felt very safe due to the large number of police officers designated to insure the safety of the area. Overall is a good place to spend a long weekend and experience life in downtown Guadalajara.

    Very nice hotel, very clean. Friendly staff. You should note, however, that there is no pool and no jacuzzi or sauna. Parking (underground) is very tight and small. Overall, I would go back to this hotel or recommend.
