Hotel with an Excellent Location

Room and service were good and location is close and very convenient to Gatwick Airport.

Adequate room for price

There was nothing outstanding about this hotel, it's location was nice due to the fact that I had an early flight and needed to be close to the airport. Forewarning, be prepared to pay 3GB for the ride from the airport to the hotel, one way. My room offered no frills just a bed and small t.v.

Good Alternative to Expensive London Hotels

For our 2 night stay, we used the EasyBus to go to London. The combination provided a great low cost alternative to expensive London hotels. The shuttle bus to airport is not free. One should add the cost of the shuttle bus when comparing to other airport hotels.

Nice hotel,nice location

Very convenient location.There is gas station with sandwiches around the corner-nice cheap dinner.The room was clean and very quiet especially looking at some park in the back-green trees,birds and rain:).It was so quiet like its not near to airport.

good hotel, bad connection

I found theHoliday Inn Gatwick Airport to be comfortable and welcoming. The only negative surprise was that there is no free transport -- in fact, the coach service betweern the hotel and the airport is downright pricey.

Close to Gatwick

Shuttle runs to the airport every 15 minutes or so. Hotel bar had pretty good food.

cramped but adequate

For an overnight stay near the airport, the hotel was fine. The rooms were small and the hotel pub was packed. The hotel restaurant was nearly empty, but the menu was somewhat costly. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable.
