Great Hotel

This was a great hotel, with a very friendly staff. When we go back to Nashville we will stay at the hotel. The only con was that weekend prices were alot higher than normal due to a international music concert going on.

Convenient and close

I was in town for a major convention. The hotel is just a five minute walk from the convention center, downtown arena (concerts and pro hockey), local music & bar scene (Music City...). Overall a very nice hotel with a good location. It does not have all of the amenities of a large convention hotel, i.e. on-site bar or restaurant, valet parking, spa, etc., but I did not expect that from the online descriptions.

Needs improvement

Needs exhaust fans in restrooms. Was charged an extra person fee and still had to pay more for a roll-a-way bed. Was charged daily parking fee at the hotel.

Very friendly staff and convenient to places...but..run down

The staff was absolutely wonderful, very friendly and informative. I was dissapointed at how old and stained and beat up things looked in the hotel but the convienence to the main strip was very satisfactory. Of course I don't think I will pay that price again just for the convienence or friendly staff. The hotel just looks too beat up to really feel comfortable in. Looks seedy once you get past the front desk.

We loved the hotel. We had a conference at the Sommet,it is within walking, but they also have a shuttle. The breakfast was so good,biscuits,bacon,sausage,eggs,cereal,fruit ,yogurt,muffins if you can't find something you like you just not hungry. The hotel was very clean and all the staff was so nice and helpful.I would for sure stay there again.

Great Location for money

Shuttle or walk to music row. Great place for beers(Flying Saucer) right across street. Museum across street. Best deal for the money downtown. Will stay there next time.

Large Room, Great Staff, Convenient Location

This was a new hotel with a lot of amenities for an "Express". The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was big enough to bring in a roll-away to fit the teenagers. The location was wonderful-- walking distance to a lot of great sights in Nashville, and convenient highway access. The breakfast items were varied and there was plenty of seating for the large morning crowd. A real deal!
