Convenient location, extremely friendly and accommodating staff, pretty decent free breakfast bar. I also thought the towels and linens were extremely luxurious for such a reasonably priced hotel, I was expecting paper thin towels and scratchy sheets and was pleasantly surprised. I'll definitely stay here again.

Clean quiet room but....

This hotel was clean and quiet and the staff was extremley kind and helpful. They were excellent. This hotel was set up to stay a quick night then get on a boat or plane the next morning. No pool or hot tub, but they had arrangements to use the facilities at a hotel a block away. The biggest thing, which the hotel can't help is travel is by cab only. We were surprised no shuttle service, no one could tell us about city buses or the train service. We spent over $500 in cab fare going from place to place and getting to our port. If we would have known that, we would have just rented a car. So if your in and out--GREAT PLACE. If your wanting to go to a ball game or shop-rent a car!

Nice Hotel but Location could use improvement

The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was absolutely wonderful. There was a hot breakfast each morning that saved us a lot of money. The hotel was very close to the airport and major highways which made it easy to get around (with rental car). The neighborhood was not very nice and seemed very unsafe. We were told by multiple people not to walk in the area and to be sure we locked the car.

Nice Hotel

Very nice hotel just minutes from the airport. They have 24-hour shuttle service to and from the terminals. Breakfast available every morning.

Good thing it's close to the airport...

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport and it was clean, which are the two most important things. Those looking for anything other than those two things should look elsewhere. All of the equipment in the room (the air conditioner, the microwave, etc.) sounded very poorly maintained. Also the pay-per-view service simply did not work, and when I called the desk to inform them about it, all he said to me was "Yeah, it's running a little slow tonight." Nothing about how he was going to try to fix the problem, he just basically told me what I already knew and that was the end of it.

Stay only if you have an hour to wait for the shuttle

The hotel was great. The staff was very friendly. The only negative thing that I have to say is that their shuttle services needs lots of improvement. We went through Miami twice and both times we had LONG wait times for the shuttle. The second time around we waited over an hour. I kept calling the hotel to see when the shuttle was coming. After an hour they finally told us to take a cab and they would re-imburse us. Good thing as the cab ride from the AP to the hotel was $14 not including tip. Overall everything else was good.

This hotel was awsome! the service was great! the room was perfect!! the bathroom was huge!! i booked this hotel on the spur of the moment trip..it was blocks away from the highway to where i needed to go..i will indeed book again at holiday inn!!!
