Holiday Inn Express Kansas City - Westport Plaza

Very Pleased

This hotel was very nice for the price. We only stayed one night so the only thing I cared much about was the room being clean, and it was. The only thing I noticed was a few strands of hair on the bathroom floor, but it didn't bother me. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, the friendly service, and the close location to a large shopping and dining area called the Plaza.

Great Location, Great Price, Clean Older Hotel

The hotel was not new, but was very clean, and had an incredibly friendly and accommodating staff! We very much enjoyed our stay, and the proximity to the Plaza made it extremely convenient!

Very clean hotel, polite staff, great stay for the money

Location was great, close to Plaza. Breakfast bar was great and the coffee was fresh. Lighted parking. Very clean. Bathroom could be a bit updated. But excellent value and I really liked my stay.

Good, but could have been better

The location was great, and the breakfast bar was great. We showed up and the lights in the room were burned out (so we had to call maintainence). Also, we requested a King bed, but ended up with two fulls, which was ok. Plus they gave us a handicap room (which we are not), with a ramp into the shower area instead of a tub. This meant that the water from the shower goes all over the bathroom. This account makes it sound worse than it really was. We just wanted some place to crash after a night out in Westport, and it met our needs just fine.

Outstaning Service

Staff was very nice and accomidating. Their service made the hotel an outstanding value. Only complaint was that parking was difficult if you arrive late because of the nearby restaurants. Won't be a problem unless you have a later arrival.

Very Impressed with Hotel!

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was centrally located to the areas I was going to visit. As I stepped into the foyer of this hotel, it smelled nice and clean. The check-in process was quick. My room was spacious, and very clean. There were adequate samples in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom did not have a fan so the mirror fogged up, but it wasn't a problem. I was very happy there, and felt very safe. I would highly recommend it to my family and friends.

Not up to par.

I reserved a two bed hotel and when i got there all they had were kings, i could have stayed in a much nicer hotel if i wanted that for a cheaper price.

KC- Westport Plaza

Nice hotel in a great neighborhood. Very helpful staff. I would stay there again. Parking could be a problem, though.

Great Location

Loved the hotel! It shares a parking lot with an awesome bar/restaurant called The Flea Market, and is walking distance from other great places. Also short drive from Country Club Plaza. Amazing breakfast in the mornings; be sure to have a cinnamon roll.
