Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cleveland Downtown

Convenient, Nice Room, and Affordable

I have stayed at this hotel three times on business in the Cleveland downtown area. The building itself is really interesting and I love the high ceilings in the rooms. Although other hotels have more amenities, I really appreciate the free WiFi access and free printing available at the hotel. Although there is only one computer and printer available at this Holiday Inn, I did not have any problems accessing it to print out documents -- perhaps because other business travelers do not stay there. It is also quite affordable, so overall a great choice!

Great hotel

This is a great hotel to stay at right downtown. It was reasonably priced. The room was clean and our favorite part was the high ceilings on the 15th floor. The breakfast was good. They also have two pool tables. We enjoyed our experience.

Excellent Choice

The only negative was that our room was not ready until 3:30, so we could not get in before the games. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room and the friendly service. They have done a great job with keeping the the original architect in tact.

Older building that has been nicely rehabbed. Our room was very spacious with 10' ceilings.

Nice place to stay

My son and I planned a trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and I didn't want a hotel miles and miles away, so I settled on this one. The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable with your choice of firm or soft pillows. I was amused by housekeeping arranging the toiletries I left grouped together on the bathroom sink. The continental breakfast was served in a very spacious room on the mezzanine and was a good breakfast. My only criticism about my stay was that I had better powdered eggs when I was in the Navy! For what I spent on my room I would hope to at least have genuine eggs. I was most impressed when Rosemarie came up to us as we were leaving and wished a good day to us. THAT is top-notch customer service! I would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

Great location

We have stayed at this hotel several times. The staff is always top notch and the rooms are big and comfy. It's perfect for downtown concerts and games, and close to 4th St entertainment. Some of the bars close early close to the ball park though, so if you're looking for nightlife, you may have to venutre more into the Warehouse district. You can't beat the breakfast either. Great combination for the money.

Outstanding Hotel.

The room was clean and spacious. The building had a great historical feel to it. The location relative to attractions was awesome. The only issue I had was trying to get swindled by locals for parking fees and/or the panhandling. I imagine both are to be expected in a "big" city like Cleveland.

Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was so much to do...all within walking distance. We are planning to go back and stay at the Holiday Inn again.
