Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Acme-Traverse City

This hotel was outstanding. The people at the front desk were very helpful, especially about using the computer in the front room for information I needed. One thing that was weird was there is no Sign or anything saying that the hotel sits in back off of M-31. Keep your eyes open as it sits back on the left and you have to turn in to see that Sign for the hotel. They should have some kind of insignia out by the road, but besides this, the rate I got for the Hotel and the accomidations were great. Checkout the Bay View Bar & Grill down the road.

Nice hotel

All in all our 3 night stay at the Holiday Inn Express was good. The room was clean, the pool area and lobby were clean and uncrowded. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast in the morning was mediocre and the line to wait for breakfast was a bit out of control. The hotel is close to anything you need or want to do in the Traverse City area.

New Signs for Holiday Inn Express

This hotel is set back off the road with no sign by the roadway. We drove past the hotel twice before we found it. Also, I was looking for the old Holiday Inn Express logo but apparently this hotel chain is changing to a new logo. Once we found the hotel we were pleased with our room and the friendly staff. Great room and breakfast for the money.

Breakfast bar

We enjoyed the breakfast bar. It is better than any I have ever been to.

Excellent Stay

The customer service was about perfect. The desk girl was very polite and always had a smile. Due to an opening we were upgraded from a standard room to a suite with no charge, we never requested the upgrade. Checkout was less than 30 seconds and the lady had the same great customer service as the girl the night before. We would definitely stay again.

Outstanding and warm service.

Hotel was close to place we were visiting, at the same time not too close. Everything was close by, rooms were quite, spacious, and clean. The view from the room was excellent sun set over the lake. I truly could not ask for more for the price I paid. Go Hotels.com
