Great room for the money

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. They are redoing the hotel, but we found it to be in good shape. Good room for price

Very basic

This Holiday Inn Express was apparently converted from another lesser quality hotel. Exterior corridors; stairways and corridors smell like urine. The rooms themselves were fine although very basic. They seemed clean enough but the urine odor in the stairways and corridors worried me a little about whether the room was really clean or not. The only way to get to the lobby/office/breakfast room was along the exterior corridors which seemed very unsafe late at night. There are other hotels right next door that seemed like a better choice to me. I will not choose this hotel again. Thelocation is good, right on Whiskey Road and close to shopping, restaurants, etc.

Wish my stay had been longer

I can only give a bare bones evaluation as I did not get to stay as long as I would have liked too. I arrived at 11pm and went directly to bed. Then had to be up first thing in the moning for a job interview. But the room was very pleasant and the complimnatary breakfast was both quite filling and tasty. The other amenities (pool area, exercise room, etc.)...looked very nice I wish I had possessed the time too utilize them.

wonderful hospitality but pool & hot tub were not working

I must say the staff was wonderful,you could not find friendlier or more helpful people. My only disappointment was my daughter and I plan to enjoy the pool and hot tub and not be out spending money. We ended up at the mall doing just that because we were not aware of the shortage of amenities when we purchaced online. It would have been nice to know we would have chosen a different hotel.

Very Nice.

Hotel staff was very accommodating when we needed an address of a local office. Room was pleasant and comfortable, away from heavy traffic so it was quieter. I would stay here again.

Carpet stained and needs replacing. Bath small. Good breakfast, reception office and personnel polite and friendly. Quiet considering the location next to busy street. Maintenanced personnel responded quickly.

We had stayed here before and found that it has improved. Room was updated and breakfast was quite good. Location is very good also.

great price, decent room

All in all our one night stay was fine. Front desk was polite, breakfast in the morning was satisfying, hospitality good. The reservationist was kind enough to let us check in early and check out a bit late. The only negative was the tight fit in the bathroom...glad I wasnt real pregnant, probably wouldnt have fit. Thanks for the hospitality while we were in Aiken, SC.
