Construction conditions were somewhat sloppy. Personnel were extremely courteous.

Great room close to Convention Center

Rooms clean and comfortable. Hotel undergoing renovations a bit disappointing; but, a bargan and is within walking distance to the Convention Center, which saves $$$ on parking.

Good room for the money

We used this hotel for the shuttle service to the airport. It worked out great for us.

Nice

I was very pleased. I flew in on a Sunday with my 9 & 11 year olds for just a day and out first thing the next morning. Although checkin was published as being mid afternoon, we called the hotel on our arrival at the airport about 9:30 a.m. In 5 minutes they picked us up (free) and when we arrived at the hotel they got us right in to a room, gave us a rundown and info sheet about nearby stores, restaurants, transportation, etc. The clerk knew where to send us (just a couple of blocks) when my son asked where we could find some souvenir t-shirts. The trolley ran past the hotel every 10 minutes and on to the beach for 50 cents per person. The hotel even provided us with beach towels. The cost was a little more than I wanted to pay, but since it included a good hot breakfast that filled us up, it was worth the money. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great Value and Convenient Location

We were in town for a USA volleyball tournament at the Ft Lauderdale Convention Center. The hotel was very close and we did not have to rent a vehicle. Shopping and dining were also close by. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hot breakfast each morning was also very good. The hotel was clean and well kept. The beach was only a five minute trolly ride away and only cost about 1.00. Would definitely stay here again.

Needs improvement

Pros: 1) Great Location 2) They had complimentary bottles of water in the fridge, a pack of cookies and pretzels the first day. If you are staying here for one night, we would recommend it. Cons 1) We stayed here for 2 nights, they did not replace the towels we left on the floor. 2) They did not replace the coffee pack, cream and sugar for the in room coffee pot. 3) The air conditioning unit did not cool well. 4) The ice maker on our floor did not work. 5) The internet service in the room was not too reliable.

Convention Hotel

Comfortable hotel within walking distance of the convention center. Very friendly staff.

Outstanding hotel

Lobby was cleaned & comfortable. Very good continental breakfast. There was someone on duty through out the breakfast to refill things when they became empty. Room was comfortable, we had just came back from a cruise & was staying overnight on the way home. Hotel desk clerk was nice & very helpful.
