There was no order at the hotel, people were screaming and shouting at 3am, having been noisy earlier in the day. The hotel is grossly overpriced for what was there. It was nothing more than a motel with a nice but overpriced resturant and bar.

Location the best feature

From the reviews I read before, I expected a superior Holiday Inn. I thought the rooms and amenities were okay, but not superior. Room was clean but small and oddly shaped. Common areas were not so clean, and the laundry (one washer and dryer per floor) with ancient machines (loud, not kind to clothes) and in the same room as the garbage (so smelly). It feels very much like a place people sleep after going to the beach/the rainforest/the reef each day, bringing their sand and their dirty laundry back with them.

Great room for the money

Room was better than average for a Holiday Inn. Restaurant a bit pricey. Staff was exceptional. Location was great.
