Very convienent to World Congress Center and Olympic Park. Perfect for Downtown Business hotel, rooms a little small for a family vacation though.

The room was oddly shaped with poor lighting. There was hair left on the wall in the bathroom. The wiring and plug situation seemed unsafe. For the price I paid I expected to be able to order room service whenever and not have to pay $20 per night to park my car. REALLY?! The staff was, however, very nice. The bed was wonderful and the place was otherwise clean. The location of the hotel can not be beat. It is in the middle of downtown and close to everything you will want to do.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 56Holiday Inn pros and cons
For the event we were attending, it was a bit of a hike. (4 blocks away, walking) The food was EXCELLENT - wonderful dining. Beds were EXTREMELY comfortable. Very good floorplan - business center is a great idea. however - - - there were "Cheerios" under the bed from previous room occupants. Bathroom is just ok, and the toilet made noise all night.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 56"True Southern Hospitality"
I just want to thank the entire staff at The Holiday Inn Conference Center. I came to visit Atlanta Georgia for the first time, during the "Bikers Convention" (Smiles). The staff was personable, charming, and engaging. My room was clean and neat. The room service representative (I did not get her name) was extremely sweet. I experienced true Southern Hospitality. I enjoyed myself so much that I'm looking to book a trip during the month of October. I will totally stay at the Holiday Inn Conference Center again and again. The breakfast was delicious yet a bit expensive. A wonderful wonderful experience!!! Thank You Atlanta Georgia!!!

Very helpful in directions and places to see. Coffee shop was not open and we chose less expensive places to eat. I would have like for them to have offered a better snack/gift area. Otherwise, I'll probably stay there often when visiting Atlanta.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 56Needs Improvement
Staff was a little rude at front desk. Not happy that we were told we had to valet - no other choice - for extra charge. Hotel seemed a little run down and phones in room didn't work. The best part of the overnight stay was Katie - the waitress in the restaurant for breakfast. Pleasant and wonderful! Would recommend this hotel for convenience only - close to CNN, aquarium, and Coke museum, as well as some eateries. Thought it was overpriced though.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 56Questionable Service
Rude service, valet was nice, but front desk, not so much. The room service staff was not courteous and unable to understand what fat free chocolate milk is. After a 2 day stay, my card, the key to open the room, had demagnetized. I had kept it in a bag in my purse all day. I walked up to the front desk and before I even said anything, a very rude person of staff looked at me and said "See what you're doing? See what you're doing? You can't do that, you can't hold your cell phone next to your room key because it demagnetizes it". This was not only rude and impolite to not even hear what the hotel guest has to say before jumping to conclusions, but I hadn't even kept those to together until I held both my cell phone and room key to walk down to the front desk to get a new key. I told the lady that my cell phone had not touched my key because they had been kept separately all day and she looked at one of my IDs and concluded that it was because I had been in an area with a lot of magnets. She was rude and impolite. The location of the hotel was convenient for me, but the area is not too safe. The price is too high for what they offer. The room service prices are affordable.

all staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and met our handicap needs. We certainly would stay here again.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 56Delicious breakfast!
This hotel was not my first choice, but it was just a stone's throw from the trade mart and I needed to reserve rooms at the last minute, so I booked it. I was really pleased with my stay. My mother even enjoyed it and she is hard to please. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was divine. We ordered in breakfast every morning. Their pancakes are addictive! My only negative is that I had to pay $20/day for parking and they only had valet parking. There were two black scratch marks left on our rental car. The attendant (who was not the normal guy that is usually at valet) said it must have been there before! What! However, luckily the mark was not permanent, it was more of a scuff mark and with a little effort we were able to remove it with a wet cloth.
