Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 127Great Location
They need to do something about the AC. It either blows full and freezing or not at all and gets hot quickly. Made sleeping difficult.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 127Great little details
The location of this hotel is great!. The bathroom is a little bit uncomfortable, but nothing that you cannot put up with. What I really liked was the free-of-charge business center, and a couple of other little details. For instance, I needed a stamp to mail a letter, and they have it. ( 44 cents). I got a headache and asked if they have tylenol and they had a twin pack ($1.00). They hold a package for me even after I had checked out. So I recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 127Hotel needs remodel of interior and staff
The staff was just not trained or experienced. Not once when I entered and existed the hotel did anyone say hello or give me a smile or nod. They would not even open the door when I was approaching to leave or enter the hotel. When I approached the front desk staff within an hour to report the ice machine not working on my floor I was told in a very "short" tone to use the ice machine on another floor. The rooms are simply out dated and need upgrading. My room could not have been any smaller or it would have been a closet. The safe in the room was like an old time ice box. The Hilton Company needs to revamp immediately or sell it to the Comfort Inn or Motel 6.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 127Undercover
Well the hotel was beautiful and the staff was very polite, how ever there were fees charged to my credit card that I did not make. They pre-charge you for everything, and then upon check out they are supposed to only charge you for what you have used. I had no idea this was the case. I am still waiting obn my money to be put back on my card and I had check out of the hotel on Sunday. So be careful and definintly specify for them not to add fees on your card or you will be batteling with them like I am. However if these are not corrected my bank will be disputing this because I have the reciept they gave me upon checking out.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 127Can I take the bed home!
The bed is little laying on cotton. During the summer the pool is open but not spring/fall so make reservations for summer. Oh also, the pool is on the roof which is awesome!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 127Smoking/No Smoking
The room was most definitely a "Smoking" room. The smell was not appealing. Other than that the room was clean and my stay was pleasant. Also I like that there was a large shower and no tub in the bathroom. These make more sense and are just easier.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 127Poor Service, Political
Hotels should be based on customer service not political bias. We we tried to complain that they carried every cable news network other than Fox, they refused to provide me with a comment card, holding up a stack of similar complaints and indicating that they didn't want to hear that complaint anymore.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 127Nice place in a great neighborhood
Decent rooms, excellent neighborhood, close to Metro (subway) stop. It is in the Dupont Circle area where there are lots of local shops and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are reasonable, but not fancy. Bathrooms are a little small. Nice pool on roof with a view. Our AC had problems which they could never fix, but I'm sure this is not a common problem.
