Trip Type: Family Review 16 of 33Great Hotel for that one Night Stay Coming or Going
Great location for that one night transit to and from the world through Narita, otherwise not a whole lot of character.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 20 of 33Good Choice for An Overnight Stay
I particularly liked the free shuttle bus service to a large commercial street in Narita. This afforded me an opportunity to get away from an international hotel environment and see a little bit of local Japan. There were also some very good, and interesting restaurants along the street which are worth exploring. One downside to the hotel is that there are limited options in the hotel for a reasonably priced sit-down meal. The gift shop though does sell beverages, snacks and sandwiches which can hit the spot if one is hungry but not wanting to spend a fortune on a meal in one of the restaurants located on-site. Would though recommend this hotel to others and will stay there again when passing through Narita International Airport.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 21 of 33Very nice hotel! Not too fond of the beds though...
My first impression of the hotel was merely aesthetic. I was definitely pleased with the lobby... It was decorated very nice with comfy couches and modern tables and chairs. The hotel room looks like any other room, so that was ok, but the only issue was the bed. It was pretty stiff (but I've heard most hotels in Japan are like that anyhow). The view was GORGEOUS and the people were very friendly. If there is an offer for the breakfast to go with your room, take it. It's much too expensive to buy separately! All in all, I would rate this hotel an 8 out of 10. Great place to stay at a decent price!

Trip Type: Family Review 24 of 33Great room for the money in Tokyo
nice clean room. convenient shuttle bus to the airport or local down town for shopping,it's not bad idea for short stay in Japan. the bad part is it costs 1,280 Yen one way(1/2 price for child)to the city(Tokyo)by train, and take about 90 mins. Hotel charges $20.00 USD for using fitness, spa and swimming pool per day, that's really rediculous!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 25 of 33Close to the Airport
We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and were just stopping over in Tokoyo for the night after a long 3 week trip to Asia. It was perfect because it is close to the airport, is a very nice hotel at a moderate price, the personnel speak excellent English, and it offers free bus shuttle to and from the airport which is exactly what we were looking for. The room was perfectly clean, we had a nice view, the bed was comfortable and it was almost comparable to the 5 star hotels we had stayed in previously. Well worth the money for the one-night stop- over, no mess with taxi's and booking online was great. Our daughter even booked it for us while we were away.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 26 of 33Fantastic hotel pool
The Narita Hilton was a beautiful hotel but what impressed me the most was the gorgeous lap swimming pool. It was perfect for a weary traveller. The hours for the pool are a bit unfortunate, in that it only opens at 10 a.m., but for those who need to swim for exercise, and who really can't use kiddy-pools in hotels, this was absolutely ideal. The whirlpools looked great, too, as did the shower room with many amenities but because I had a flight to catch I couldn't enjoy much of this since I could only get in at 10 a.m.

Trip Type: Family Review 29 of 33Bait & Switch
On our recent visit to Japan, my wife, daughter and I checked in to the Narita Hilton hotel which we had reserved through Hotels.com. We had reserved a room for 2 adults and one 11 year old child. However, upon arrival at the Hilton Narita, we were given a room with only two twin beds--there was no bed for our child. When we asked about this, the clerk responded that we had booked this room through Hotels.com, which was at a discount, implying that we should not expect so much. When I asked where the child was expected to sleep, he suggested she could sleep in the small twin bed with one of us. Since an 11 year old is a large child, this would be impossible. The Hilton clerk acknowledged we had reserved for a child, but said we would be charged an extra 5000 yen to provide her a roll-away bed, which we reluctantly had to agree to. During our 11 day visit to Japan, we also stayed at the Hiroshima Prince Hotel, the Yaesu Fujiya in Tokyo, Ryokan Rakuchou in Kyoto, and Ryokan Misono in Kurashiki. Each of these hotels had provided a third bed for our child upon our arrival, without any question. This hotel also gives Hotels.com customers unrenovated rooms. If you want a renovated room, you must pay 1500 yen more per night. Additionally, they charge you 1000 yen each everytime you use the pool or health club, and a whopping 1800 yen a day for internet. Needless to say, you should not book this hotel. And Hotels.com should care that their customers are being disrespected and not receiving what they contract for and correct this for future customers.
