convenient

this hilton is very convenient it is right across the highway from the airport and its side by side to hertz can rental which makes it very easy to return a rental. the rooms are ok but i would still expect more from a hilton. the furniture looks old and has wear on them. you would think that they would renovate this hotel soon. it does has a hdtv flat panel tv there is wireless but you have to pay 10$ for it which makes no sense now a days when it should be free. they also have a macs in the lobby with free internet access and a business center with blakc and white and also a color printer. there is also a bar in the lobby for those who like that sort of thing. all in all i would say its convenient to be near the airport but there are hardly any fast food restaurants near by so you have to drive about 5 miles or so to find some good food.

Parking Lot Rip Off

The hotel itself was fine. However, they charged $10.00 to park but the gate arm to the parking lot was open so anyone could have parked there for free.

Not good

I really wasn't pleased with this hotel at all. Our room wasn't clean, needed to be vacuumed. Customer service was all right. Parking is horrible and if you want to get a spot remotely close to the front door, you will be paying $10 a day. I also didn't feel like it got enough television stations. We didn't get Disney or Nickelodeon...so my 4 year old was quite displeased. It was cheap, which was good. Breakfast food was expensive. You can't beat the location, you can see the airplanes take off and land. Next time I will stay at my favorite hotel, Embassy Suites. Oh, and no fridge, microwave, hairdryer, iron, either!

Convenient and Economical

Room was cold, widows had gaps w/ daylight showing. Hotel did not offer breakfast which I take for granted today.

across the street from the airport and provided 24 hour shuttle. great 4 me since i had a 5am flight. room and hotel was great

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

UNFORTUNATELY THERE WAS A CONVENTION THERE AT THE SAME TIME AS I WAS AND THE RESTAURANT APPARENTLY DIDN'T EXPECT THE INFLUX OF CUSTOMERS BECAUSE IT WAS GROSSLY UNDERSTAFFED. THEY ONLY HAD ONE WAITRESS WHICH WAS INSUFFICIENT TO HANDLE THE PEOPLE DINING. THE HOSTESS WAS TRYING TO HELP AND BUSSED TABLES; HOWEVER, AFTER BEING SEATED AND SEEING THE INEFFECTIVE SERVICE WE GOT UP WALKED OUT AND WENT ELSEWHERE. OVERALL THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL AND WE HAD GREAT SERVICE AT THE BAR; HOWEVER, THE SAME THING HAPPENED THE NEXT MORNING AT BREAKFAST, I THINK MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO BETTER STAFF THE RESTAURANT AT CERTAIN TIMES.

Nice hotel near the airport but they charge for internet

Very comfortable hotel near the airport but they charge for internet service. That was the only drawback. Good value for the price charged for the room.

It's worth the money

The hotel in general is very clean. The room that we stayed in were cleaned everyday. The only thing that is not up to par are the elevator carpet. They look like they've seen better days. They need to change those carpets. The room service food quality were great and that includes the person who took our order. Another thing, what's up with the $10 a day parking fee? Even if your car was only there in the morning that is still $10. Most of the staff were very nice and helpful except for one lady in the front desk. Someone need to tell her to smile like the others. Her demeanors shows that she doesn't like her job or she is just not a people person. Maybe give her another job somewhere in the hotel. Anyway I would still stay in this hotel because it is clean, staff are okay and it is very close to the airport and plus they do provide shuttle service which is the best!

very nice place. but.......

the hotel was very nice and very clean and the staff was very nice. the only issue i had was there was a family reunion going on at the same time i was there and there were kids running around up and down the hallways yelling and screaming with little or no supervision. on top of that there was a small issue with our door lock. as we left our room the deadbolt slid out slightly causing the card reader to not accept our key cards. i stopped at the front desk twice within 10 minutes to let them know about our issue. mind you we were on the 7th floor. after about 45 minutes and a phone call from my cell to the front desk. they finally sent up maintenance to help us. they maintenance guy was very nice and made sure we were happy after waiting for so long. those are my only 2 complaints about the place and im not gonna blame them for the misbehaving children as its not there fault. all in all a very nice place i would still recommend to any and all looking for a nice place to stay at a nice price.
