Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 48Great Room
We stayed at this hotel after our marriage ceremony at City Hall and had a great stay. The rooms were cozy and comfy, the hotel was close to the wharf which is where we went for dinner. Price was very reasonable for a midweek stay.

Everything was fine except their was no fridge or microwave. I've stayed in many places the cost less and had these amenities

The hotel said that they had parking, well they didn't mention it was $40.00 to park, which I was quite disappointed, you get a good deal on a hotel but then they get you with parking.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 48Location great but service not.
While the location was good, beds were comfortable, and the decor was what was expected in a Hilton, hotel staff never bothered to take that extra step that I've come to expect of any fine hotel. Even tho we paid extra for a third person to stay in the room, no extra towels, coffee, cups, shampoo, etc. were provided. Staff was not overly friendly. Restaurant on site was over-priced. Parking fee is outrageous!

I was very disappointed that I had to pay for handicap parking, which I had never paid in any other hotel.

I have been to this hotel before. The location is great for what I want to do. The condition of the hotel is very good. My only suggestion is that Hotels.com offer an option to include parking in the pricing package for those times I drive to the city.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 48Looks Great, But Kinda Isn't
I picked this hotel for my girlfriend and I to stay in for one night, while i took her to SF for her birthday. I picked this particular Hilton because of the location in relation to everything we had planned, and because its a Hilton, i figured how bad could it be? Well, the condition of the hotel matched the location; great. The hotel staff however, was awful. There is only 1 person for every duty. The valet guy was hard to find and barely spoke english. The doorman spoke even less english. The receptionist didnt seem to be very experienced with standard procedures for hotel services. Setting up the Valet service was a nightmare, and ended up with us going through 4 or 5 different people, all with different ideas of what we were supposed to do. It ended up being such a travesty, that we were late to a tour we had already paid for and booked, and thus missed the tour. We returned to the hotel and complained to the manager, who in her defense was very apologetic and actually took the entire parking charge off our bill(which is $35 for self parking, absurd in itself). She also offered a free movie rental and meal. Well, when we returned from dinner to order some dessert, we discovered the room service closed at 10. So we ordered a movie, only to find that the movie volume is so low even with the TV maxed, we could hardly hear it and ended up turning it off after 10 minutes. We tried to use our free meal in the morning at 10:30 am, but no one would answer at the room service desk each of the 5 times i called. So, all in all it was less than acceptable. Yes, the room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the location was damn near perfect. But the staff, was very unprofessional. I would NOT recommend.
