The hotel was a nice hotel, but the room was small for the price paid. After staying in another hotel, I felt like I was in a sardine can. The beds were comfortable though and the location was just OK. I would have preferred to stay closer to union square versus china town. Parking was $47, which we knew about, but there was a parking tax of $7 added to that.

Positives: 1. Easy check in and out 2. Central location 3. Comfortable bed 4. Spacious desk 5. Plenty of natural light Negatives: 1. Mediocre personal service 2. Rooms not very soundproof Overall: Great value for leisure/business if you get discount.

the stay was great and very comfortable, the only thing that bothered me was the $30.00 parking fee to park in there garage under the hotel. but other than that it was very pleasant. thank you.

It could have been bad luck on their part but I didn't have a good experience here. When I checked in around 8 they told me that they didn't have any rooms because a bunch of guests had been granted late checkouts. They told me they could either give me a smoking room in an hour or a non-smoking room in 3 hours. The manager told me she would call when the room was ready, but she never did. So I ended up in a smoking room despite waiting the 3 hours. Maybe this is unavoidable if you run such a huge hotel, but I feel that a reservation means that you should get a room if you check in at a reasonable time. The manager offered me some free drinks and breakfasts but couldn't adjust the rate.

The room was very comfortable--especially the bed. We had great views of the Bay and Coit Tower. I totally recommend it.

This hotel is very very nice, but it is in the finicial district so if your not there for business there is not alot open on weekend around it. but very easy to get to from the bart and very easy to get on trolly to get to the warf.. oh and the bed's were awesome!!
