Great value forthe room. Beautiful setting. The bar was pricey but oh well. I would definately go back and stay there.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 428Great Room, Great Location
I was in SD for a meeting in Downtown and this place was easy to get in and out of. The parking fee of $21 each night was a little steep, but the location is very convenient if you're attending a conference at the convention center - you won't have to pay for parking there, you can just walk! Also, I LOVED how comfortable the beds were, glorious after a really long day! Everything was clean, there was a nice view (we were on the 15th floor) and the staff was nice.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 428Perfect Location, Great Views, Nice Clean Hotel
I would recommend this hotel to anyone; its in a perfect location, has plenty of ammenities, very friendly staff, and very clean rooms. The only negative is the expense of the parking ($21 a day to park yourself) but other than that, a great value!

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 428Great Hotel
The hotel is new, clean, on the bay and beautiful inside. Very light and airy. A definite pick if you want to stay in a nice hotel close to the gaslamp district or the convention center. You can walk to everything. I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel has plenty of grass runs for your k9 to run around. It is also connected to the harbor walkway. Took less than a few minutes to get from my hotel room to the park.

This hotel does not have basic amenities in the room like Microwave, hair dryer, Iron box is rusty and they charge you for drinking water ($8 per bottle). It is not worth for what we pay. Ther are better hotels around this place.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 428Pretty view...terrible service and amenities
The hotel charges EXTRA for internet in the room ($19.95/day) AND for the exercise facility ($15/day). That is an extra $35 per day for these amenities that are usually included in your stay at other hotels. The business center is actually a UPS store within the hotel, and they charge for everything, including checking e-mail and printing. Although I am told that the hotel was recently built, my bathroom had mold. Awful. Despite its location, this hotel is relatively isolated, and it is quite a walk across past the large convention center and over a busy thoroughfare to get to shops and restaurants. There is a really expensive restaurant that is not very good within the hotel. There is also a Starbucks and an ESPN Zone in the hotel complex. The hotel's isolation is compounded by its strange design that places the main entrance on the 2nd FLOOR that you have to access by a long ramp that has no sidewalk. You do have the option, however, of accessing the hotel through the monolithic, bland, poorly lit and out of the way first floor entrance that resembles a service entrance. The staff was not very friendly, and they really could care less that guests are charged extra for all the amenities I mentioned in the first paragraph. Due to scheduling changes, I also stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in the Gaslamp during this visit. The rooms were large, internet was free, complimentary coffee in the mornings. A great place to stay.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 428Nice Hotel
The hotel was very, very nice! My fiance and I really enjoyed the stay. Check in and out was easy! The room was clean and the beds were very plush. The pool was very cool! The only downside was the $21 parking each day, but you pay that anywhere. It was a easy 5 min walk to gaslamp which was nice because parking is crazy there. Overall, I'd stay there again!
