Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 79Flight Friendly
This hotel is perfect if you need to be close to the airport. It is attached to it via walkways and incredibly convenient to catch your flight. Not a good choice if you want to experience Rome, as it's far away from the city. Eating in the restaurant is quite pricey, as there are no other places to eat within walking distance other than in the airport.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 79Comfortable and convenient
We stayed here on our last night in Rome since our flight home was at 11:00AM. The train ride from the main train station (Termini) to the airport is about 30 minutes on the Leonardo Express. We checked into the hotel in the late afternoon, enjoyed a swim and work-out, then had a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant. Dinner was not as fantastic as some of the places we ate in Rome, but adequate for our last night. Our room was very nice. In the morning we had a relaxing breakfast at the HUGE breakfast buffet (the biggest and most diverse breakfast at any hotel we stayed at for the whole trip) before we walked over to our terminal to check in for our flight. Very convenient and worthwhile to avoid the stress of coming from central Rome that morning.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 79Very convenient to the airport
The Hilton Rome Hotel is right next to the aiport and train station with a covered walkway between. Quick 10 minute walk between with moveable sidewalks. The free shuttle takes you right to your airport destination. Price was alittle high and food at the hotel was as well. Accommodations were very nice. Couldn't have been more convenient for that early morning flight.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 79Great Airport Hotel
We stayed at the Hilton Rome Airport in September 2009. We found the hotel to be very clean, modern and convenient. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the center of Rome which we used. In addition, the hotel also provides a free shuttle to the international terminal of the airport which was also nice. We would definately stay here again.

You can't beat the location near the Rome airport. Shuttles to the specific terminals are ,unfortunately, not guaranteed but sometimes available.

This seems to be the only hotel at the airport. But the restaurant is not at all good and way overpriced. We had better food on the airline heading back to the states.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 79Good enough for an overnight
The hotel it self is beautiful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We used the hotel for an overnight because we had an early flight home the next morning. If you are walking from the airport be perpared for a LONG walk. The signage is very bad and the walkway was very hot. the only plus is that it is slightly downhill. I would never walk back to the airport from the hotel which was my plan. only after asking 4 times to get a ride which I was told is for "Flight Crew" only they finally agreed to give my family and I a ride back to the airport.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 79Restaurant problem
The hotel was generally good and as I expected. The food at eheir restaurant was expensive although good, and I can't compare it to other restaurants in the area. The price included "service". When I asked if that meant it included tips I was told no, so I left a tip. The next time I was told it did mean that it included a tip so basically I overpaid on an already costly meal the first time.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 79Hotel With Four Stars Deserves Two... Maybe...
From the outside you'd think the Hilton Rome Airport Hotel is a winner due to its dynamic architecture... but, except for its excellent location, it's not worth price. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are tiled floor-to-ceiling and nice, but the bedroom portions remind one of spartan, college campus dormrooms: no carpet, no worthwhile decorations and singularly dark and depressing. The beds are not very comfortable and the linens are stiff and hospital-like. Speaking of college dorm conditions, the halls in the hotel leading to the rooms are as dark and dismal as you would expect from a college dormatory. The hotel seems uniquely designed to make guests feel depressed. Forget television as a positive diversion-- the screen on most airliners is bigger and has more channels you'd choose to watch. Room thermostat is there to make you think you have control yet it seems to control absolutely nothing in terms of temperature. Only fan speed can be controlled which, when it's only mildly cool air, is of little help. I guess management figure they know best when they set the room temperatures throughout the hotel to keep costs down. The food was good but the food service was generally poor. The hotel seems to be understaffed with regard to waiters and bartenders. With one exception, what staff was serving seemed to not want to be there. Bartenders were especially slow and seemed irritated to be serving. On the positive side the front desk personnel are very helpful with information. I could never determine if they had a dedicated person to assist guests, but even bellhops were helpful with basic questions. My cheeseburger was 16 Euros. Surprisingly, it was one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. ...Still not enough to redeem the dismal, dark and depressing room conditons and lack of a television worthy of a hotel with so many stars.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 79Great Location
Our flight was changed last minute and we needed a hotel in Rome for two additional days (we had already stayed in Rome for the first three days of our trip in the city center) this hotel was great because we didn't have to haul our luggage into the city. The hotel has a shuttle to the city every 2 hours. It was hard to find the hotel at first look for the over pass tunnel from the airport (toward the garage) and you will see a Hilton sign.
