    We stayed here on our last night in Rome since our flight home was at 11:00AM. The train ride from the main train station (Termini) to the airport is about 30 minutes on the Leonardo Express. We checked into the hotel in the late afternoon, enjoyed a swim and work-out, then had a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant. Dinner was not as fantastic as some of the places we ate in Rome, but adequate for our last night. Our room was very nice. In the morning we had a relaxing breakfast at the HUGE breakfast buffet (the biggest and most diverse breakfast at any hotel we stayed at for the whole trip) before we walked over to our terminal to check in for our flight. Very convenient and worthwhile to avoid the stress of coming from central Rome that morning.

Location. The Hilton Rome Airport is a business hotel at Rome, Italy's Fiumicino Airport that is linked directly to all the airport terminals and the airport train station via a covered overpass.

Hotel Features. A modern building that features a high, arched ceiling, the Hilton Rome Airport's multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk offers amenities that include tour assistance.

Buffet-style breakfasts are served in Le Colonne restaurant and is open for lunches and dinners. The Caffee Tevere is open daily for light meals served for lunches and dinners. Artists Bar serves beverages and light meals for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The hotel offers a fitness room, indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, and two tennis courts. The Congress Center on the ground floor has 2,000 square meters of space available. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to both the airport and Rome's city center eight times a day.

Guestrooms. The 517 guestrooms at the seven-story Hilton Rome Airport offer amenities that include tea/coffeemakers, in- room safes and private bathrooms. Wireless Internet access is available.

Expert Tip. The beautifully preserved ruins of Ostia, two kilometers from the hotel, is in the meadows between the Tiber River and the Tyrrhenian Sea. It was founded as a military colony to guard the river mouth against seaborne invasions. The ruins of Ostia Antica are open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. in the summer and 9:30 a.m. in the winter.
