Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 131Great room for the money
Need to upgrade the lobby, and dissapointed in the lack of free breakfast

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 131Price is the issue
The hotel is very good. Best lovation EVER. But, for the less cost you may find other hotels as good as it. Some couples blocks away. If you can expend a little more money. I really do recommend!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 131Good Place For A Short Business Stay
The hotel was clean and the service was good. The only critique is that there was no tub in the room.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 131Wow...
A lttle dated (July 4Th) but its 01 NOV and im finally getting around to it. Needless to say, this hotel DOES Stand out in my mind. Its clean, and the concierge was AWESOME! Not a single problem, and the minor details made it worth it! Whether here for a short stay or a long haul, this is a very confortable home away from home

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 131Could have been better
Ran out of rooms w/double beds w/in 30 mins of check-in. What do people do who really don't want to be in a king bed w/a colleague or friend? Construction around hotel is a mess and all over surrounding area causes major traffic probs. No parking if not valet. Walk a couple blocks to open, unattended lot for car. Food at breakfast buffet was not best.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 131Nice but
Yes, it's under construction. Beyond that the location was great; the noise between rooms was horrible. We heard our neighbors bathroom so clearly we actually thought it was coming from inside our room. Fortunately they were not up early but could not believe the paper thin walls. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautifully decorated. Easy walking distance to any type of entertainment. But insulation is cheap and very effective. They didn't use any in the remodel. Beds were really too soft and difficult to sleep comfortably.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 131nice hotel if your going to the steelers game
Clean room, nice sized bed and close to the steelers game. The only bad part about this hotel is parking we paid 12 dollers because it was the weekend , and we parked areself. If you have them park for you expect to pay almost 30 bucks during the week.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 131Disapointed
The location of the hotel was very convenient during our stay which was probably its most redeeming quality. Upon arrival the air in our room had been set to about 58* - when we turned it up to a normal temp. the entire room became horribly humid. Everything was wet, the mirrors were steamed up, the linens were damp, and a box of envelopes in my briefcase all sealed themselves closed. It took a day and a half to get the room to a comfortable humidity level... we complained to the front desk and they said that housekeeping always turns the air down that low and they know it makes the whole room damp. While the room wasn't super clean it was comfortable and nicely designed. The restaurants in the hotel along with valet parking are rather expensive so be prepared. Our truck is a bit bigger than others so we were charged an extra fee to valet park it, but for most of the time it was in "valet" it was simply parked along the main street near the hotel about 10 feet from the door which was frustrating given how much we were paying for valet service.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 11 of 131Pittsburgh Hilton
This is THE best place to stay in Pittsburgh if you're attending a Steelers' game! Although it's under some renovation right now, they still provided good service and a great room with a nice view. We love the location and the easy access to Heinz Field and other attractions across the river. We would highly recommend it!

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 13 of 131Great location, but...
Great location, walking distance to PNC park which was exactly what we were looking for. Valet parking was horrendous. A special event was going on at the same time we were there (unfortunately we didn't know that ahead of time) and the parking was utter chaos. People were parking anywhere. The hotel's hot water wasn't working the following morning so we were unable to take warm, let alone hot, showers. Bathroom had see-through door which was a little odd and shower had a glass door that didn't move making it impossible to even turn on the water without getting soaked. Thankfully the friendly desk clerk did not make us pay the Valet fee due to the inconvenience of not having warm water.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 131Horrible Customer Service, Triple charged for room.
I will never stay in this hotel or possibly another Hilton again. The hotel and its staff pretty much ruined my vacation. When I arrived they told me the credit card I gave them for incidentals was declined. I found this strange but ignored it at first and gave them another credit card. When I went up to my room I checked my bank info and saw that the reason my card was declined was because they charged me for the room after hotels.com charged me and withdrew my account. I immediately called the front desk to discuss this. They insisted they didn't charge my account and I was forced to walk down to the lobby at 4am with my laptop to show them that they in fact did charge my account. They assured me that they would have the hotel manager contact me first thing in the morning. I didn't sleep all night worrying I would be without money in a strange city. When I never heard anything by morning, I went back to the front desk to speak to the manager. She informed me that no one had told her anything from the night before. This made me extremely upset. Finally after much ado, I had the money debited back to my account. However, two days after checking out of the hotel, I was in NYC trying to purchase a train ticket but my card was declined because once again they charged me for the room! I was furious and had to cancel my long awaited trip NYC. Horrible customer service, and very poorly organized.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 131Hilton Pittsburgh
The hotel is under construction and is very confused. At one point the key system was out and people couldn't get in their rooms. Location is great but the area is also under construction. Wait a year or to go. Hopefully all will be cleaned up.
