Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 4Great Hotel in Costa Rica
For my vacation to Costa Rica, I stayed at the Hilton Papagayo resort and spa. The thing about this hotel thst made my stay so enjoyable was the hotel staff. They all went above and beyond any other hotel I have visited. The staff made sure I was enjoying my entire vacation. They are very courtious and friendly, and did an outstanding job of making me feel truly comfortable and relaxed. The concierge service at the front was amazing! The representative at the front helped me arrange transportation for my entire trip, sometimes with little notice, and were even able to set me up on private tours with a private driver soI could enjoy everything without the hassle of atime table. Overall, this was by far one of the most enjoyable vacations I have ever had.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 4Great Hotel & Great Value
Wow, we had an amazing stay. The hotel was nice, very modern, well cared for and extremely beautiful. The staff was amazingly courteous and the amentities were wonderful. The one downside, if any, is that you had to park your car in a garage and move around the property in shuttles. The hills were steep so walking tired you easily. Also, it is a pretty remote location so recommend renting a car (plus it is well worth it to see some of the country on your own). Costa Rica was amazing to us and the Hilton was one reason why!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 4A prison for honeymooners
Totally isolated from the rest of Costa Rica. Without a vehicle, you are stuck with bad food and bad entertainment. Be prepared to wait a considerable amount of your time there to be hauled around in gassy buses to boring meals and mariachi bands. Pool was nice, but without it, there was nothing else to do. Beach and water was filthy. The hiking trails are a joke. If it wasn't for a staff which tried their hardest all of the time this place should already be closed.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 4Amazing Resort
Our week here was incredible and a major steal for the weekly rate. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the buffet consistently exceeded our expectations. Meal choices changed daily and all selections wre freshly prepared and included local fruit and produce. A wide array of meat entrees(chicken, pork, beef, seafood) were included with each meal. I do not reccomend the other dining options (reservation resteaurants and snack bar were not good.) If you like to drink, you win here. Call brands and as much as you'd like. Served by friendly, professional staff. This resort discontinues its All Inclusive arrangement in November, so get in on this steal of a deal beforte it's gone!
