Hilton Palm Springs Resort

Very nice for the money

The Hilton Palm Springs resort was very nice. The Fitness Center left some to be desired, but the pool was nice and heated to a comfortable temperature so I could swim on a November morning. Room service was great and affordable, and the room was elegant and comfortable.

Room quality versus rates

I was a little disappointed with the rates, compared to the quality of the room/hotel. However, I do understand it was a holiday weekend, so I'm sure they raised their rates. It just seemed a bit high. Overall, I would still recommend the hotel.

didn't get the floor I booked

I was upset because I was traveling with a pet and I was very clear that I needed the 1st floor. While booking I mentioned it 3 times. Of course, when I got there -- no rooms available. So, I had to get up in the middle of the night several times and go down from the 3rd floor to take my pet outside. Needless to say I was not happy.

This hotel was absolutley wonderful. Outdoor bar at the pool, 2 huge jecuzzis, large pool, the room had an exquisite bed. It was like sleeping on clouds. everything was perfect. At the restaurant, the waiters literally waited on you. My glass was never empty. It got to half way full and i automatically got another. I felt welcomed and comfortable. Best hotel stay by far.

Expected More From The Hilton Name (or did I?)

I ususally stay at a swankier hotel in Palm Springs but this was a last minute trip. Although the hotel was packed with irritating tourists the staff was very professional and helpful. The hotel hallways smelled like vomit, and the room smelled odd. The location was prime for for eaterys, casino, and other nightlife. The deathblow for me was as we were packing up to check out, a cockroach was under our clothes. It scurried away, my wife and I were left with a sour taste in our mouths for this hotel. We wont be back.

Very Nice Hotel To Relax

The hotel was very clean, I ordered room service, they were very quick the food was moderate though...The bed was pretty comfortable the pool was very nice and the hotel was very clean...

Great hotel, smokey room

Everyhting was great, but the even though the hotel is an non-smoking hotel, the room still smelled like smoke.

Romantic getaway

My lady and I had the best time here, the staff are courteous and helpful. The room was plush and the best bed I have slept in a hotel. If you don't mind the heat then go in the off season, not too crowded and the rates are far below peak season. Within walking distance you will find outstanding restaurants and dance clubs. Take the hotel shuttle and save on cab fare. The only complaint we had was that the hotel needs to purchase more umbrellas for the pool area.

Great location

Staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean. Great location..only a few blocks from Hwy 111 where all the shops and restaraunts are located. We walked everywhere and for those of you who like to gamble, this hotel is located across the street from a casino. I only have one complaint and that is the hotel needs to purchase more sun umbrellas for guest to use while laying out by the pool.
