Awesome hotel!

Great location, close to tourist stuff, pricey for what you get

Great for tourists. I was in town on business. It is obvious that the hotel is well kept. Parking is expensive as is the wireless. In this day and age I cannot imagine charging so much for wireless. Breakfast is also $20 which exceeds my company's allowance. The rooms are standard. Clean. The beds are way too soft (as they always are in Hiltons)--and I woke up with a backache. The bathrooms are spacious and nice. I stay at a Hilton more than 15 times each year and this one is nice, but the price is a bit too much for what you get.

Good place to stay

I had a good stay at this hotel. I had the Executive King Alcove and we had a great view from the 19th floor. It’s close to all the tourist attractions at Universal City, and only a 10 min drive to Hollywood Blvd. The dinner buffet on the weekend is a must! The only compliant I had is my toilet that wouldn’t stop flushing, I had to jiggle the handle to stop the flushing.

What you would expect..

It's a big chain hotel in Universal Studios. It's not a boutique but the room was large, the bathroom was nice. The location is handy if you are interested in doing things in both the Valley and around Hollywood, and, obviously, Universal Studios. It's really not bad if you want a decent room at a resonabl price.

Great Location

Hilton is the closest hotel to Universal Studios so it was very convenient. They also offer a shuttle ride so you don't have to walk up the hill every 15 min. Just remember to remind the check in person for a king size bed. We had requested it on line and got a room with 2 double beds. Since my husband and I were only staying one night we didn't bother to exchange.

Completely wonderful

Great Hotel

Totally enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. Great location to the Universal Studio park. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. One of the employees was even from my hometown. I would highly recommend this hotel. This was my first "Hotels.com" experience and I am compeltely satisfied and can't wait for my next vacation.

Over priced for what you got

The location, the view, and the beds were great. The shower had no water pressure and they charge you for anything extra that you would think would be free with your stay there, like parking. Not worth the money.

They cater to you and a buffet to die for

Very nice hotel and great location. The staff completely goes out of their way to take care of you, valet was very helpful and fast, front desk checking in was very friendly and quick, except for one lady with an attitude. Went to the room and it was like a sauna, the air conditioning in the room was not working. When we called the front desk, they lady wanted to send up maintenance, we told her that would not work because it was too hot in the room to wait(we were sweating) and we had somewhere to be in 45 minutes, so we needed a room ready now. She said "Fine" and hung up on us. Went to the front desk and two other people were working on getting us another room quickly. This room was nice and comfortable. With the exception of one persons attitude everything was great. If you stay here I would recommend having their buffet.
