Convient for overnight stay at Gatwick

The Firealarms rang several times during the night. Once we were told all was ok, later we had to leave the Hotel and sit out in rain. Then...when we re-entered....they kept ringing. Did not get much sleep.

Convenient to the Airport

The hotel is connected to the South Terminal of Gatwick airport, and with rolling luggage, you have no problems getting in and out of the airport from the hotel

good overnighter

Convenient hotel for connecting flights from Heathrow to Gatwick etc.

Family room too small

We booked the Hilton at Gatwick Airport because they had a family room and the pictures looked like we would have more space. As it turns out, they just put an extra bed in the same size room. I travel in Europe often and I understand that European rooms are smaller but paying extra for a family room should count for something. Our doube/queen bed was very lumpy and the hotel room was not sound proof. On an up side, the bath products were great, they just did not provide enough for 3 people. It would have been cheaper to get one double room and one single at the other Gatwick hotel were the beds were great.
