Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 53Very good hotel at a reasonable price
The hotel was small, clean, and the staff were very hospitable. The location was very convenient to several subway lines, great little restaurants and shops. The room (especially the entry way) was a little cramped, though that's to be expected in NY, right? Would definitely stay here again, but also might check out the Hilton Garden Inns in other areas of NYC - just for a change of scenery. Oh, and the adjacent restaurant (Bar Artisinal) was a charming French bistro, great for lunch, dinner, or a wine and cheese plate at the bar. Wish they delivered to the guest rooms in the hotel!

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 53ask for a view
If you don't ask for a view you get a window that looks out at a wall. Wish there was a la carte for breakfast. The restaurant only had buffet that was too much to pay if one is in a hurry and can't sit down to enjoy it. Love the fact that the windows open to fresh air.

A good choice for strolling along Canal and Mulberry Streets and lower Broadway. Safe neighborhood.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 53Great experience here...
Every staff member at this hotel was very helpful and friendly, without exception! We are hicks from the sticks, and the desk staff was very patient with our many questions. The doorman took very good care of us with taxis, finding locations, and helping with baggage. The room was clean and had all the usual ammenities, such as flat screen TV with a zillion channels, a fridge and a microwave. The neighborhood is very interesting and only a short cab ride to Greenwich Village and all other attractions, without being in the middle of all the heavy traffic and mobs of people. Pub across the street has great burgers. Subway station right under hotel- very convenient! Met many interesting fellow guests from all over the world. We were VERY pleased with the hotel and will definitely stay here again!

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 53Great location
If you are looking to stay in TriBeCa, this is the place. It's clean, friendly, and affordable. There's no parking, but plenty of parking garages just a few blocks away if you don't mind walking. Lots of trendy bars and restaurants within a few blocks away.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 53A hidden Gem!
First time in NY, and I was first looking for 3-4 star hotels to assure i would be satisfied with service and comfort after being out sight seeing day after day. I wasn't happy with the Price those stars offered and started looking at where I have stayed in the past here in California. I found this Hotel and was sooo plesantly surprised! The staff was excellent! They taught us about the subways (conviently located around the hotel), The Bell Hop took us under his wing and gave us lots of great suggestions. We were treated like royalty by each shift we encountered...(we stayed on west coast time, late nights)... I would recommend and will stay here every time we go to NY.

Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca is perfect. New hotel, quiet, near the CANAL STREET Metro line. Good price. Excellent choice, I highly recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 53Needs improvment in service and room comfort
We stayed there for one night. We got a room on the street side so the obvious Manhattan traffic kept us up for majority of the night. Secondly, they only had shears on the window...no curtains that would make the room darker for a better sleep. In the building opposite to the hotel there was someone partying till late(Friday night..can't blame them) and we could see the light throughout. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were horrible. The heat didn't seem to work properly. Hotel staff was friendly enough so no complaints there. We woke up in the morning and asked for more coffee and creamer and first answer was service doesn't start until 7 AM. When I called at 7:05 the answer was that 'we do not' have any room service till 5 PM (some room service that is). It seems there was coffee in the lobby till 9 AM so we were supposed to go down to the lobby in our jammies to get coffee...I passed and managed with the one cup that was there. We checked out at 7:30.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 53Great location and value
I usually try to find some hip boutique hotel to stay in when I travel, but as this trip was on short notice, the ones i normally look at were booked up - probably something to do with fashion week! I picked this one simply for location and had low expectations (to match the low rates). I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The room was large for NYC, clean, with a really comfortable bed, flat screen TV, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Subway station right outside the door was an unexpected bonus, and so many fantastic restaurants within a few blocks. I can't imagine I will ever stay in another hotel in NY.

Great location! We can't wait to come back. We did have a parking problem that was the fault of the hotel, however they more then mare up for it!

Hilton Garden is a very nice hotel with an amazing location - the nearest subway stop is 10 meters from the entrance. Clean and quite big rooms to be NYC. I will definitely stay there again the next time I go to NYC.
