Good hotel

Nice hotel in a residential setting. A little out of the way, but close to highway. Nice, clean rooms and friendly staff. Front desk gave us recommendations for running. Elevators were slow. Free coffee and cookies were nice. Italian place up the street in strip mall was GREAT! Not a bad place to stay if you have a rental car.

Outstanding Hotel & Great Room for the Money!

Pleasantly surprised. This was a business trip; no free continental breakfast; however, preferred the quality of the room. Would definitely stay here again.

perfect hotel

the hotel and grounds were impeccable. the rooms very clean and comfortable. staff were very helpful, courteous, and had perfect eye, hi, and good-bye skills.

Beds not great

The hotel talks about their great sleep system beds, but for all the adjusting on mine and my husband's part, there was never any difference in the softness or firmness of our bed. The hotel is actually several miles from any stores or eating establishments, and don't believe that the name of the street will give you a view of the ocean whatsoever..."Ocean Bluff"...I guess it could mean they bluffed people into thinking it was near enough to the ocean to see it..The room was nice, and the amenities were fine. Their restaurant was a little pricey, like $10 for a club sandwich, and $11 for breakfast. We did like their little store by the front desk that had many foodstuffs and medical, personal supplies. That was great.

Great room for the money

We stayed at the Hilton Garden for the weekend of our wedding. Since there were children involved, we requested that we have two rooms and if possible to put us on the same floor. They did more then that, they placed us in two connecting rooms, where we could keep an eye on our girls! Awesome! The rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet pleasant. Pool area kind of small, but SPA worked great. They have a great workout room that we involved alot. We went down stairs for happy hour and breakfast and everything we ordered was great. Staff were helpful and friendly when we requested service. Only down fall, is the location of the hotel, if you are not familiar with the area you may have a difficult time find it. The location where the hotel is very nice, in a upscale residential area--away from the freeways. Over all great place to stay!

A little overpriced but very clean and comfortable

My main complaint is in regards to the rudeness of one of the front desk staff members. I spoke to a few throughout the weekend and the rest was fine but my boyfriend and I were interested in getting a massage and went to the front desk to enquire. The lady there directed us to the spa, we followed her directions (turn left, it's just down the hall and on the right) and could not find it so we went back and said we couldn't find it based on her directions. She irritatedly assured us it was where she said it was and to go look again, which we did and it wasn't. We asked her again at which point she was very rude and curtly told us it was there and go find it. We looked again, this time opening doors to maintenance cupboards all the way down the hall to the emergency exit which we then decided to walk out of and look outside and continue to walk around the building and we finally found it, around the corner of the entire building. At no point did she say go out the fire exit, make a right and then another right and you should see it there. We both thought she was very rude and unfriendly.

Super deal

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proerty was new and invery good condition.

Very clean with great service!

Stayed for 3 nights. Other than being just a little hard to locate, we had a very positive experience. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Disappointed

We were disappointed with the service at check in. They did not have our room available at check in and made no attempt to find us a different room; just told us we would have to wait. We had arrived after the 3pm check in time to avoid being late to our scheduled event.

Great experience.

Everything was perfect. There's nothing more that can be said.
