Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 142Four star amenities, two star accommodations
This hotel has a great location next to the Georgia World Congress Center and the Georgia Aquarium, it has two very nice restaraunts and valet parking. However, the rooms themselves are rather pedestrian. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, but was expensive for what you received. Parking required an expensive daily fee, and breakfast at the in-house restaraunt was also not cheap. If you need a decent room and a great location, this is it. Eat elsewhere and take the MARTA, unless you are on an expense account.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 142Get what you pay for!
The hotel is very difficult to find, even a GPS navigator got confussed. Also we arrived to check in and we were given a doulbe bed room when I specifically booked a king, we went back to the front desk and then was told we got that room because the king size rooms were not cleaned yet (mind you it's 4:15 and check in is at 3:00) so we had to wait an additional 45 minutes and we're told again that a king room was not ready yet, so I asked to speak to a manager and she immediately put us the correct room. Bottom line, make sure you get what you paid for and reserved because they will try to give you something else!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 142Best hotel for what we wanted to do on our trip
This hotel was perfect for what we were doing in Atlanta. We flew in and rode MARTA. The hotel was a couple of blocks from the MARTA station which was not that bad. It is within walking distance of the new World of Coke, CNN Center and the Aquarium. We were in town for a concert at the Georgia Dome and were concerned how it would be walking back to the hotel at night. The staff at the hotel said we wouldn't have a problem and boy were they right. The World Congress Center is between the Dome and the hotel, so there were people everywhere. Absolutely loved the fact there was a computer with internet access in the lobby. We were able to check in for our flight home and print our bording passess before we left the hotel, so that was one less line we had to stand in at the airport. Overall, we had a great experience and would definately stay at this hotel again.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 142Loved it!
I stayed here 10/02/09 - 10/04/09. Check in was a breeze. Staff was helpful w/ my excess luggage. My standard room was nicer than I expected. Great location, great view. Clean. The Zip Checkout by phone was convenient. This was my first time in Atlanta (for a workshop), and am already making plans to go back so I can get in some of the site-seeing I missed out on, and will be staying here again!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 142Great Room, Beware the Parking.
I only stayed one night but was very happy with what I saw as far as cleanliness. The room was comfortable and the staff friendly if not overtly helpful. The only thing that was wrong in my eyes was that they don't warn you that parking is extra!! I thought with the money that I spent on the room that paying to park in the hotel garage was ridiculous. To me it was a substantial bit of money that was tacked onto my bill. It doesn't matter if you self park or do valet, it's still extra. The valet staff was very friendly and helpful, they even gave me directions! Overall I really liked the hotel for the price. I just wish there had been disclosure about the parking.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 142Great Location
Great location for downtown attractions. Nice hotel, however; the room had multiple large stains on the carpet. Not very inviting to walk on without shoes. Not what I expected for a Hilton facility. Breakfast was very good for the money. I would stay there again, but would request a room with clean carpet.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 142Guest Services Non Existent
In short, I left some items in the room and contacted the Hotel immediately. They had part of my property and promised to return it to me. Over 30 days later, and I have not spoken with the same person twice at the Hotel or at Guest Services. Phone calls are transferred randomly and no one seems to know what is going on. My file was closed and correspondence sent to me in Texas. I live in Missouri. File has been reopened but no correspondence or property has been received and it doesn't appear that I will receive my property. Emails go unanswered - I was not the person making the reservation, but was on the hotel register as a guest. I will not recommend this hotel in the future.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 142Great Location
I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for 2 nights 8/29/09-8/31/09. My stay was pleasant. Staff was very professional and polite. The location of the hotel was walking distance from all attractions desired ( CNN, Aquarium and Coca Cola). I really enjoyed my stay.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 142Great Hotel-expensive breakfast
The hotel was amazing but the price we paid for breakfast was outragous. Breakfast for my husband and I was around $30 which is way to much for what we got.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 142Very Satisfied
The location and condition of the hotel were perfect. Close to some interesting eateries as well as attractions. The room was clean, albeit a bit small for a family of 4, and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful and quickly provided additional toiletries when requested. Parking in the garage was convenient but a bit pricey like parking in the rest of the area. I will stay again when an opportunity arises to visit this section of Atlanta.
