Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 20The Biggest Disapointment Ever
There was a disgusting brown glob on the mouthpiece of the telephone. There was human hair on the sheets when we turned down the linens. There was a memo posted at the check-in desk warning customers that there had been numerous vehicles broken into in the area and the hotel could not gurantee the safety of items left inside vehicles. We stayed at the hotel less than 1 hour before complaing to the person on duty and left to find a clean & safe room for the evening.

I pleasantly pleased with the hotel. The Ray Charles momument/park is right across the street. The civic center and downtown is in walking distance. The aquarium is also in walking distance. The rooms were very clean. It was a little bit smaller than what I expected. Overall it was a great stay. I would diffently stay there again

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 20Great Hotel
This was my second time staying at this HGI and once again it was enjoyable. I was there with my parent in-laws and brother in-law and his kids. I had a handicapp accessible room (this was all available with double beds) which was larger than a usual room and worked out great since it rained two of the days and everyone gathered in my room to play games and watch television. Overall it is a nice place to stay while in Albany.

Great hotel, Hilton breakfast was great as usual. However, the strawberries on the buffet where old and there wasn't any water in the juice section. Other than that, everything was nice and the Ray Charles memorial across the street was a great bonus.
