Awesome Service

Outstanding staff, know what it means to place the guests at the forefront of all their decisions. Only place I will stay while in Durban

Outstanding hotel and service

Very new, contemporary hotel located right next door to the Durban Convention Center. Especially convenient for meeting attendees. Staff was most helpful, courteous, and informed. Since they deal mostly with internatinal travelers, this is a necessity. The restaurant is excellent, particularly the full breakfast buffet, which was R120 during my stay (about $20 USD). While the hotel was excellent, there are a few downsides, mostly outside their control: there is not much else very close to the hotel besides the Convention Center. We were advised to always take a cab to any destination, rather than walk. During our meeting, several attendees in other hotels were mugged. While there are two very nice curio shops in the hotel, there is not a shop that carries typical traveler needs like aspirin, snacks, etc. I was very pleased staying at this hotel.
