Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 305Great Hotel 4 Business
Staff is efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable. The room was spacious and well laid out. I think my room was scheduled for a make over as the drapes were dingy and the carpet filthy but this is NOT the norm for this hotel. Would definitely go back.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 305Great Boston Hotel with a great staff
Our room was immaculate!! When we were met at the front desk, checking in, the people were very pleasant and helpful. Although we asked for nearby restaurants, we ended up eating there at the hotel. Food in the restaurant was great and our waitress went out of her way for us. All the shopping you'd want is within a few blocks. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Boston.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 305Great location so who cares about the view
Boston is a very walkable city so it was nice to be located near newbury street, the prudential center, T, ... Our room was on the 5th floor so our view was of the top of the parking garage and HVAC units. We spent of the time out wondering the city so the view did not matter.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 305Very Nice Hotel
Perfect location- walking distance to T stops, the Prudential Center, restaurants, and Newbury Street. The hotel was pricey, but comparable with others in the area. The view was great. The room was very comfortable. Coffee area was clean and nice. Access to computers in the coffee area. Front desk staff, coffee bar staff, and doormen were very nice and helpful.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 12 of 305Good location
Right across the street from Prudential Center with lots of food and shops. "T" subway stop is also at Prudential and very convenient. For first time, I tried taking the "T" from hotel back to the airport - 40 minute ride, very easy (one transfer) and only $2 - I highly recommend it! Very convenient 20 minute walk from hotel to Fenway Park. Between this hotel and the Sheraton, you cannot get a nicer hotel closer to the ballpark. Rooms and bed very comfortable, my only complaint was difficulty operating the temperature controls and 'smoky' smell in the room, but otherwise, nice and very convenient accomodations.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 305Staff Needs Improvement
When we arrived and went to our room, we found the toilet seat was very loose. We told the person at the desk and she said it would be taken care of. When we returned that evening nothing had been done. The night before we were leaving we asked for a wake up call. The next morning no wake up call. When we checked out we told the person at the front desk and she said she was sorry. That was the only negative about the hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 305Great Location!
Before leaving the lobby each morning for our adventures in the city someone was near the door that we could ask how to get wherever it was we were going and were always friendly. The easy access to the "T" was terrific as well as places just to walk in the surrounding neighborhood. When we needed a taxi, the doormen were able to get them so fast that we never waited longer than a minute. I would definitely stay here again and plan to when I come back to visit colleges with my daughter in 3 years. Thanks!
