Good hotel in a great location

This hotel is one of several around the city centre. The area it is in is near the city's landmarks.

Great Service and Value

Every staff member of this hotel delivered excellent service every day of my 5 day stay. With the exchange rate from the US dollar, this hotel was an outright bargain. Centrally located and easy to reach from everywhere in the city. Convenience and other stores were open late at night and the hotel was within walking distance of several nice restaurants (lots of Chinese restaurants close by) and a couple of blocks from the downtown night life scene.

Nice but have seen better days...

This hotel is ok and staff is very friendly. Rooms a bit worn and old it has seen better days.We were informed about an inroom safe but it was only included in the executive rooms. The gym was big with a lot of machines but no towels were available.

One of the best!

We stayed in the historic portion of the hotel (Old Govt bldg) and it had great character. It was beautifully restored, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The meals in the hotel were good, but not great. The location couldn't be better as it's right in the central part of downtown, so most things are within walking distance. This is one hotel I'd recommend without any qualifications.

Good Hotel- The Internet is a rip off

The hotel was nice. The Internet access was a complete rip off. They claim that there is a max fee, however the fee is meaningless becasue they charge you extra for MB usage. It is a seperate company and they were not helpful. My average usage was more expensive than the hotel!
