Very Happy with this Hotel

As we were not familiar with the area, I picked this hotel based on other reviews and the pricing-It was a great deal and the hotel is centrally located. Very clean rooms, the staff is very nice and I would highly recommend this hotel in the future.

Excellent Hotel

Stayed 3 nights for a mother's get-away, the service was over-the-top, excellent customer service. The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were so comfortable with beautiful new updated decor, comforting colors, lots of pillows, etc. The kitchenette was perfect. I watched 7 movies from the free DVD rentals! I would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

A beautiful get away

The best thing for a busy working mom's 50th birthday - 3 nights here and attending a great local convention. Hotel was beautiful, modern, great colors, lots of pillows and flat screen - sheer comfort, and affordable. I watched 7 movies from their free dvd collections, many up-to-date great picks. Excellent service! Thanks so much for everything!

Wifi Broken

Both the days, the internet did not work and even after calling the reception multiple times, they could not fix it or rather they didnt care much. Otherwise great hotel

Great Hotel, LUMPY PILLOWS

Every thing was great, but the pillows were more like a bundle of rags,

this hotel is great the the money

the room is nice and big, the front desk people very nice when we got there late night. the hotel is very security with camaras in the hallway and doors lock.

Great room for the money

we brought our grandaughter as a little getaway just to relax for swimming and dinner. We initially wanted to stay in Santa Cruz, but the nice hotels were booked so we decided to stay in the San Jose area then go in the morning. We were very happy with the room having a sofabed, a fridge, coffeemaker, flatscreen tv, iron, etc. the front desk put us right across from the pool when I mentioned we were going swimming. The free breakfast was very generous and a large variety of food. Great for families. My grandaughter said she liked the hotel as much as going to the boardwalk and beach or even better. We all had a great time, very memorable. we would definitely recommend this place and go back.

Nice Family Place

The desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. These same people drive the shuttles for guests and were outstanding in their duties, always trying their best to accommodate the guests. If you don't want to rent a car while in this area, I would advise staying at this hotel. Note, however, that the shuttle service is offered Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm, within a 5 mile radius from the hotel.

So comfy and clean

The hotel room was SO nice. It was extremely comfortable and clean. We loved the flat screen TV and DVD player. The breakfast in the morning was GREAT...so many choices and it tasted really good. A great choice for your $$.

Excellent Hawthorn Suites

Recently refurbished with flat-screen TVs, very comfortable queen beds, duvets, etc. Good location and quiet even though at the interesection of two arterial highways. Free shuttle to/from San Jose Airport and local businesses within five miles means you don't need taxi or rental car. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Free WiFi and Ethernet in rooms and computer in lobby. Breakfast buffet includes cereal, juices, coffees, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, corned beef hash, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, bagels, toast and sweet rolls. There is no afternoon social hour.
