Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 66Spacious but no view
Although the king room with fireplace was spacious and comfortable, the windows were tiny and there was no view. Very few rooms have vineyard views. The small patio outside the room was very uninviting. The buffet breakfast offered several choices and was good.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 66Room was old, but reception and breakfast nice...
The rooms in the "Rose" section where we stayed we old... updated bed and TV, but carpet and bathroom need to be brought into the 20th century. Breakfast was excellent. Facility grounds are charming.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 66Lovely and Charming
The grounds are beautiful and just what you would expect in Napa. Our room was great (but the bathroom was a little old). The staff was helpful and the breakfast was perfect pre-wine tasting fare.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 66Wonderful experience
The hotel was charming. Great location. I was there on business and would have loved to have shared this experience with my husband or a friend. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Napa Valley.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 66Pretty on the putside, but.....
It's a pretty property. The front staff is friendly. Nice breakfast in the morning and wine, fruit, and cheese in the evening. Our room was nice. Big king bed, huge bathroom, fireplace. Now here's the bad: the toilet chain in the tank kept falling off so my husband had to stick his hand in the tank to reconnect the chain. At 350 a night, I don't think we should have to be our own plumbers. When we told the front office, all they said was, "have you mentioned this to anyone before now?" And then a simple nonchalant, "sorry." Are you kidding me? After that, I kind of got pissy that they never did anything for our 10 year anniversary even though they new it was why we were there. Honestly though, that didn't bug me until I got irritated about the toilet chain. lol. Well, and also the oversight was exacerbated when we dined at Terra (excellent French Med food) and when they found out it was our 10 year, the waiter brought out a dessert with chocolate script on the edge of the plate that said, "happy 10th anniversary." I wrote a review about Terra. More on that there. Terra made our night special. Harvest Inn didn't care much. Oh yeah, the property is right by the main road. When we called we asked to make sure the car noise wouldn't be bad and they told us that it quiets down after 6pm. This is not true. The cars go by all night becoming especially bad at 5am. And this was a Saturday morning, so beware!!! Bring EARPLUGS if car noise bugs you.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 66A romantic getaway
We had stayed at this hotel when it first opened about 25 years ago. No landscaping was in the paint was still wet in places. Wow--how plants do grow! It is a fairytale oasis in a verdent garden. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend it for a romantic getaway.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 11 of 66Service was a bit difficult.
It took a very long time to get checked in for a room and we were being shuffled around about 4 times to please a returning guest. I guess returning guests take precedent over first time guests. It was down right in front of us and was a bit rude. They did provide a bottle of wine and an upgrade to a different room, so they did do there best to accommodate.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 66Great hotel in a great region (wine country - Napa Valley)
This hotel is comprised of several "cottages" and located on absolutely beautiful and well maintained grounds. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The bed in our room was very comfortable, which is, after all, a very important part of the experience! Definitely recommend.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 66Outstanding Hotel!!!
Great Location; Great Service; exactly what my wife and I were hoping for during our stay in the Napa/St Helena area. Also, make sure you go and eat at the Culinary Institute for dinner. The food was incredible while at the same time being reasonably priced.

Beautiful grounds; convenient location. Room was a little sketchy (looks like it's been a while since updated). Also, we had a room on the second floor -- but no elevator. Complimentary breakfast on the scenic terrace was wonderful.
